Food is great, price is reasonable. Carrot cake is a must to try. Service is not so great, server seemed to be somewhere else. First, she forgot to server the bread, left it on the tray and offered them to us after we were almost done with our meal. Second, she forgot go serve the drink that my niece ordered... More

My husband and I visit about once every couple of months when we are craving a delicious cut of meat. Joes sirloin is our go to, juicy and tender it never disappoints.

We love Tahoe Joe's, doesn't matter which location. They have the crispyest/freshest salad's, you'd swear they just went out and picked the veggies. Steaks are delich, love the Strawberry lemonade. First time we ever ate at Tahoe Joe's, we had just taken Oma to Hearst Castle and we ended up staying in San Luis Obispo that night and there was... More

This restaurant offers a wide variety of foods but it is a steak house. Their steaks are so tender and juicy you can almost cut it with a fork. A little too much salt on my baked potato but ask for little to none and they will accept your request. Their rolls served before and during dinner are so soft... More

My wife and I eat at Tahoe Joes at least once every couple of weeks and usually we have good service. Tonight however it was disappointing. First of all I asked that I have my dressing on the side with my salad. But nope loaded with dressing. And we weren't asked if we wanted fresh pepper. Then we had to... More

We decided to sit in a bar booth to have a Happy Hour drink, it was apparent right away that one server was working all the bar tables. Surprisingly the drinks came out quick, although they made my wife's drink incorrectly it still tasted fine it just wasn't what she ordered. We ordered an appetizer which arrived a few minutes... We had the whiskey peppercorn sirloin steak and the spinach artichoke appetizer. We substituted a baked potato for the garlic mashed potatoes. The b a ked potato came with the works, was cooked to tenderness, and was huge! The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, light pink in the center. It was a lean cut with little fat, which is... I've been to Tahoe Joe's several times, and I always enjoy my meal. My favorite thing is the Railroad Camp Shrimp (appetizer and salad). I also LOVE the cheesecake. All around good food.

This is like an old time roadhouse lodge & just kind of a fun place to eat. For what it is food is decent & the service was great. The funny thing we found out was that though there are a few other Tahoe Joe's in CA there are none in Tahoe. We had steak cooked perfectly with baked potatoes... More
