I’ve lived here 3years and just found this place. I ordered the Smoke Stack and was not disappointed. So much meat!!! Great sauce perfect bread. I am so glad to have found this place. We were a party of 7 and everyone loved their sandwiches...no complaints. They offer combo prices with chips and drinks. They also support the coffee brand Black Rifle veteran owned company.More

I've seen this advertised but finally went in. We were looking for a quick dinner before a school meeting. The sandwiches are custom made, but they do have some pairing suggestions. Meat is piled high, different spreads besides the mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar/oil. If you're looking...for great picnic food, come here! This is not your typical subway or togos...it's better.More

Strong people dad to stop. The place is a little long in the tooth could use some cleaning up and fixing up. But they were very accommodating on our restrictions for our food plan.

Stopped by to get a "good" sandwich from a deli type place rather than sub par subway sandwich. I was glad to see they have kettle chips and other brands than Frito-Lay. I created my own roast beef sandwich though they have many sandwiches to...choose from on the menu. A little sad they didn't have white American cheese. You place your order at the front then pay at the back. They also have many drinks to choose from including orangina! There are little platters and salads you can take as grab and go. The sandwich was fresh and not skimpy on the fillings. For which I am glad because it was almost $11 for a sandwich and chips. The workers were nice and it seemed like a lot of regulars were there. I would go back when I have a hankering for a good sandwich.More

When I walked in I thought the place smelled horrible, like burning plastic. I noticed a pile of junk near tne condiments station, and dirty tables. The lady behind the counter was totally preoccupied in conversation with someone who used to work there. I felt...like I was an intruder, not a customer. I should have left, but I was hungry and the Reuben sandwich came highly recommended, so when she came to a convenient stopping point in her conversation she asked me what I wanted and I ordered it. I then proceeded to the station marked "cashier" and stood there for several minutes while one lady ignored me while making a sandwich and the other carried on her intense conversation with her former coworker. Eventually, I was informed that I should go sit down. The lady having the conversation showed me she had just donned rubber gloves and therefore I should have been smart enough to figure out that I was expected to pay after my sandwich was ready but before it would be given to me. Sorry. I'm a first-time customer. Most places where you order at the counter have you pay when you order. I sat for a long time, sipping a fountain diet Coke that was way too strong. More than once I got up to leave due to the smell, but decided not to. Eventually, my sandwich was assembled and placed in the press. Meanwhile the intense conversation with the former coworker continued. It appeared to me that everything related to making my sandwich was taking much longer than it should due to the ongoing conversation. She kept holding the sandwich and conversing, instead of getting it ready. Finally, after a good 30 minutes, I was summoned to the cashier station. I must say the sandwich looked great. While paying, I was wondering why the financial aspect couldn't have been handled earlier, but oh well. The sandwich was beautifully browned and crunchy, and nice and hot. But it was not possible to eat it as a sandwich. The meat was so tough that you couldn't bite through it. You'd wind up pulling all the meat out of the sandwich trying to take a bite out of it. This meat was advertised as Columbus premium pastrami. Premium pastrami should be fall-apart tender. This was as tough as jerky. Then I recalled that the lady who was having the intense conversation had mentioned to me that she'd had "a hard time" getting the meat to heat up. I recalled hearing the microwave starting repeatedly, so it seems like she must have heated the pastrami so much that it got really tough. Probably distracted by her conversation. She should have left it cold. The sandwich press would have warmed it enough without making it tough. Anyway I made the best of it and cut the sandwich into bite size pieces with a plastic knife and fork. It was very tasty. As I left, the lady who kept her back turned to me while I was standing at the cashier station called "have a nice day!" My clothes still reek of the burning plastic smell. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 dots rather than one is that the sandwich tasted good, despite the tough meat.More

I lived in Vacaville for 26 years. This deli has been there ever since I moved here in 1989. The owners are super sweet and named their sandwiches after some of their kids. No matter what sandwich I order it's always fresh and great. The...place is small but most of their orders are take out. The regulars have been going here for years and years like myself. It's worht they try as you'll be hooked.More
