Being going here since they first opened in the original location and was delighted to learn of the expanded menu at the new, larger location. The wait staff seem so happy to work here; always pleasant, upbeat and eager to make the costumer happy. This past visit only outdoor eating was available when we arrived but they were happy to move us all inside once a table opened up. What I love about the "new" Munod's is the unusual flavor combinations that cannot be easily found elsewhere such as Camerones Fuego or linquica and shrimp alfredo.

Great tasting food presented well.

We had a group of 6 with two children. They have a kids menu that had selections each one was happy with. This restaurant has moved recently and the interior is fresh and contemporary with a prominent bar. Food was a bit more upscale than typical Mexican restaurant fare, on large square plates with decorative veggies. Excellent tasting food. When we arrived, there was even a person playing a guitar. Overall a very good experience. My only suggestion is that the lighting could be dimmed some.

Love the new menu

Well it's not so new anymore but it is new for their current location, across the parking lot from their original premises. I do miss them not having empanadas as they don't appear on too many menus in the valley but I am very impressed with their Italian - Latin fusion options such as their Baja Chicken Pasta. All the food seems extremely fresh and is most definitely flavorful. Also, the staff was beyond accommodating on our last visit, allowing us to change tables even after receiving our appetizers.

Horrible Hostess

We to dinner last night and mit was only pation dinning because of the pandemic which was no problem accept we were shown to our table and nothing more. After a few minutes I asked if we could have a menu and she said the menu was on the table which was a scan. Didn't explain how to use it. I overheard her telling an elderly couple they needed to use their phone to access the menu. I still didn't understand I have never had to do this. Our waitress arrived and we told her I had to go get a menu from the front table myself. What really ticked me off was a group of people came in and the hostess asked them if they knew how to use the san menu. Would have been great if she would have offered that to all of her customers. So needless to say the tip I left wasn't very good.

Overpriced.

Overpriced. The food is good but not great. I had the Tri-tip and it was very tough and chewy. $13 for a sandwich seems high for this area. The place is clean and the service is friendly. They were not fast, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

Restaurant does not care about loyal customers..... will not be returning......

Have been a customer here for a long time. Wanted to call in an order for Mother's Day and pick it up. Requested that the hostess check our standard order by looking up our phone number and we would have the same order and pick up later in the day. She rudely refused. I understand holidays can be hectic but restaurants might want to be mindful that customers that are loyal all the time and not just a "one-off." Will not return when met with such rudeness. Owner Veronica, got on the phone and was equally snarky and did not care or try to accommodate an order that would be picked up later in the day and I can see why staff has the attitude they have and treat people with such rude, nasty energy. Not what people want to engage on holidays. Also, people are willing to work with you but restaurant should post that hours change for holidays and make that clear on the website. Called right at 11 AM and they claimed they were already full? I want to give my money to honest, ethical businesses in Turlock that are kind and friendly to their year-round customers. Thank you.

I enjoyed a burrito filled with Yucatan Pork, beans, rice and smothered in a delicious green sauce. It was also topped with sour cream and pico de gallo. A perfect blend of flavors. All washed down with fresh ice tea. Yes service was excellent.

Great place for friends to meet

I met with some former co-workers for dinner at Mundo's recently. The food and service were excellent. My only complaint was it was too hot inside. I was sweating uncomfortably during the meal. But my meal was perfect. Portion sizes are generous, and I took about half of it home.

Rude service

Went to have lunch place empty except for booths full sat at a table by back door told can’t sit there for large groups every dining table was empty and where I was sitting empty also told waitress chairs hurt my back again she said can’t sit there go there 2-3times a week also knew the waitress??i got up and started leave said I would be back later..not..later or ever then she said I could dig their boy good way to lose money and business will make sure I spread the word abt this place his they treat regulars slot better places to eat in Turlock than mundos

Burrito for lunch

I enjoyed the Burrito lunch special today. It was delicious. Fresh veggies were used in the pico de Gallo and they blended perfectly with the sour cream. Then when I cut into the burrito, it has the best pork filling that married perfectly with the green sauce. As far as I am concerned, the green sauce is to die for. You can put it on anything and it would taste great. Anyways, back to the lunch. Absolutely delicious and I washed it down with freshly brewed ice tea.

We arrived to be one of three guests. One waitress and she was excellent and provided great service. Food was delivered promptly, warm and enjoyable. Food is not made with lard and is really good for those that have sensitive stomachs.

This IS the place!

This IS the place for amazing food in a refreshing atmosphere. Who would have guessed sooooo good in a sleepy, odd location! Make sure you get a "to go" box, the left overs are just as good t for lunch the next day.

I brought a friend from Georgia here to have some terrific food. She loved the green sauce and so do I. Our meal started off with the Coconut shrimp served with a Thai peanut sauce. I enjoyed the guacamole tacos which is one of my favorite dishes. My friend had the taco soup which was a large portion of yumminess.
