My husband grew up in California with true Mexican food and when he moved to Ohio realized we do not have anything close to it. When we make it back to California every so often we make sure we get their family dinner. The chicken and carniras are great. There is nothing like fresh made corn tortillas. The family pack... This old Albertson's store was reborn when Vallarta renovated it. The store is modern, clean and bright. Excellent meat and fish sections. Large cafeteria area with good food and tortillas made fresh off the line. Only issue is the parking lot tends to get very dirty and they need to pay more attention to it otherwise highly recommended.

Old, Close to expired food. Cant eat there without thinking of all the videos of magots in their pork on Facebook. Really nice people that work there though.

The food there is pretty much bland. I've been there a couple of times and it's kinda like Mexican cafeteria food. I would probably not go there again. It's not worth the price, when there are much better places to eat in town.

Located close to my hotel room. Was able to buy bottled water and a few other things at a reasonable price. Chinese buffet restaurant next door is terrible.

Superb range of fresh fruit and vegetables. Great value for money. This store has all the basics plus lots of interesting Mexican specialities.

As Brit tourists to find a Mexican supermarket was a treat. Our home one boasts a collection of Mexican coffee cups and herbs ... Brilliant

This is a supermarket and though they have food do not compare them with Whole Foods who have great food. I did not like their food at all, ugh!!!!!!

We were pleasantly surprised by the deli and bakery section. There was so much to choose from! There were various types of desserts, mexican bread, fruit beverages, cakes and different types of mexican food. The soft tacos were good and the strawberries and cream were delicious! The prices seemed a little steep but that might just be California.

We were looking to pick up some food for lunch to eat when we got to Sequoia NP. We had limited cooler space so we had to be careful. The clerk at the La Quinta Inn suggested we go here and what a surprise. We knew it was a Mexican supermarket but I didn't know quite what to expect. They... More
