We had a great Happy Hour, off season, at this hilltop restaurant overlooking Truckee. We enjoyed our food and the "delicious" house wine ($5). We will be back for dinner. Historic building. Very "old Tahoe" and wonderful!
My girlfriend and I picked the place because of Trip Advisor. We were very happy we did. Nice wine selection. Diverse menu. Scallop Special was beautiful. My chicken linguini in a rosé sauce was excellent. Créme Brûlée for desert. Made a perfect meal.
1 hour and 12 minutes to be served. 2 soups sent back they were lukewarm,not hot. Barbecue sauce asked for as a side for ribs came out cold from the refrigerator. Thr ribs weren't even as good as those served at Jax on the Racks....More
Cottonwood is a bit difficult to get to, but our Garmin found the way.
Service was great, and the food is delicious. I'm vegetarian, and there were plenty of options to select from. And the view is great, also!
