Sam and his crew have created a wonderful menu of Sushi and Asian food. The spiced Edamame is addicting. And now they have a full bar! Well prepared and seasoned, and even if you are not a sushi fan there are a lot of alternatives from which to choose. I love the Singapore noodles. And they make a great Cosmopolitan... More

Awesome sushi and Asian delights...Everything we had - from the calamari to the ginger creme brulee was outstanding. We also had a dragon roll, some eggplant, scallops, and a shrimp and avocado salad. Oh, and of course a delightful bottle of sake to wash it all down. Service was spot on.

This is my favorite restaurant in Truckee. All of the friends we've taken there have also been quite pleased. Nice patio seating in the summer. I love the goma-ae spinach, the roasted beets, the tomae maki, the high monkey maki and the hor-fun noodles so much that I haven't tried much else on the menu. The menu is well marked... More

Food was quite good. Went there with experienced locals. Atmosphere OK and service a little slow. Very popular and crowded which is a good sign. Prices OK. A little off the beaten track but worth the stop if you are a sushi fan.

We eat a fair amount of Japanese food and gave this restaurant a few tries. We are 4 hours from the ocean so we took that into consideration when choosing the restaurant. We live here and tried the restaurant out 3 different times. The first two times we did not get sushi, but ramen and the soba. Both dishes were... More

We chose this restaurant because it is out of the main crush downtown and seemed to have a "mellow vibe". My wife ordered the sweet and sour soup and it was a very tiny bowl, more like a cup. The flavor was good but there was not much to it. I ordered a pho that was supposed to contain pork... More

Nicely decorated atmosphere, inside/outside seating, friendly trained staff, very interesting menu-sushi, Japanese food, and other foods, mid range prices, very pleasing experience

Group of 5, (2 children). Nice outdoor area. Server rarely looked us in the eye. We had to ask for water which is normal in California but we also had to ask for utensils and then later soy sauce. Both after the food was delivered and no apology. Again the server did not look us in the eye and she... More

We went here on a recommendation. We ordered the calamari for the appetizer. This is suppose to be on of their signature dishes. We found it to not be very fresh calamari. My daughter ordered the salmon sushi. This was not to bad. However, she also order the yellowtail tuni which was not fresh.

This isn't mountain sushi, this is top quality food that you would be happy to find in San Francisco. The menu has traditional sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi, and also many japanese dishes (noodles, eggplant). One of my favorite places to dine in Truckee.
