If you have a big appetite, this is the place to go, even with the whole family. All the food is freshly made and the pie rack is a focal point. Fresh berry cobbler with ice cream seems to be popular. I stick with the protein choices. Great art and an attached gift shop with wine and coffee bar make... More

So glad we stopped at this underrated restaurant! The daily special appetizer, fresh local Chanterelles with a Marsala Demi Glaze was so so delicious! I had never had a dish like it, and enjoyed it so much, we even asked for bread to soak up the remaining sauce! The beet and goat cheese caprese-style salad was scrumptious, clam chowder was... I've been to this restaurant a couple times, and oddly enough both times has the same issue. The food is good and is reasonably priced. That part of the experience was positive. But the waitress, on both occasions I've been had, had the exact same characteristics; she greeted us, and took our order well enough, and seemed genuinely friendly and... More

Hello, mrliterature... What you described is not what we're known for. Nothing negates a great meal faster than not being taken care of by wait-staff. it grieves me that this was your experience; especially in light of the effort that we put into buying wholesome and fresh ingredients so our kitchen staff and chefs can earn the respect of diners... We were visiting from the Bay Area and ate here three times - twice for dinner and once for breakfast. We were very impressed with the food quality and taste. The service was also great. The Cioppino was excellent each time and the salads were outstanding. We also enjoyed the blackberry crumble. Another patron commented that the next time they... More

We were recently camping at Patricks Point and woke up to a pretty steady rain which put the damper on our fixing breakfast....so we decided to see what we could find in nearby Trinidad. After the first place we looked at had no tables available (family of six), we found a little further down the road this wonderful spot. We... More

Glad you ventured back to Trinidad to find us. Thanks for the TripAdvisor shout-out today and we hope your trip back to Reno was safe. Best to you... More

I had clam chowder and blackberry cobbler for lunch and both were amazing. The clam chowder was like the clam chowder I remember from years past. So thick and creamy it just stacks up in the bowel. Everything about it was fantastic, unlike any clam chowder I had eaten in years. The clam chowder alone was worth the trip to... More

We had a very delicious breakfast here while in Trinidad. The California Benedict, with avocado and tomato, was delicious, and we really thought the selection of breakfast items was varied. Our server was super friendly and our food came out fast, so would definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast!

Cute diner with good quality food. My veggie omelette was great. This spot appears to be the place where locals eat. Diner is just about a block from the historic lighthouse where you can also walk down to the beach.
