Trinidad in January is a quaint, quiet seaside town with mainly local population occupying it this time of year. This restaurant has the best view any time of day, right on the historic pier, there is a lot of parking and the food is quite good! The seafood is highlighted with fresh catch of the day etc. Wait staff are... More

It is a small restaurant on the bay above the pier. They aren't fancy, but the food is fresh fish in season and non fish if you don't like fish. They aren't expensive either.

This place was recommended to us by local friends and we were not disappointed!! The pancakes were the best we've had, I had blueberry and my husband had blackberry and we both had their blackberry syrup!! The location was gorgeous and our waitress was very nice! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Trinidad, a cute seaside town. Was here for lunch during a drive down the coast to Fort Bragg from the Redwoods. It is located on the pier, naturally affording gorgeous views of the cove. We took a stroll on the pier and the beach in front while waiting for a table.... More

The dinner menu was quite expensive and limited. I realize this is a tourist area but this is Trinidad, not Carmel, not La Jolla. I want simplicity not an expensive menu. Another area of frustration is they did not honor my AARP for the item on the menu I requested and they would not give a half order to my... More

I have been going to Trinidad since I was born in the 60's. Grandparents are buried there. I go back periodically to relive great childhood memories, which include Seascape Clam Chowder. Last time I went, we had the shrimp cocktail, which was huge prawns chilled to perfection. This time, it was small mushy salad shrimp drenched in cocktail sauce. Chowder... More

I wanted to like this place. It has an interesting location, right on the foot of the pier, but the windows don't give very good views. The food was not exceptional, and the waitstaff was forgetful with drinks. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but this appeared to be a typical restaurant that could be found anywhere.

While on vacation, we decided to come for dinner and had high hopes for a wonderful seafood dinner. The place is very quaint and a perfect location with ocean breezes and a view that is amazing. They even had binoculars available for watching wildlife. But honestly, the food was extremely disappointing and especially considering what they are charging. We asked... More

Loved the location, the booths with low windows, and the provided binoculars. Food was pretty good, but felt pricey. However I will say they gave us more garlic toast than we could ever eat so took the leftovers to the pier to feed the sea gulls. I had the scallops and shrimp charbroiled....Delicious! Hubby had the same thing only cooked... More

I ordered Halibut sautéed in garlic and butter with mushrooms with baked potatoe, garlic bread and cup of clam chowder. The chowder was incredible! The Halibut was good. The blackberry pie was pretty good. I did NOT like the restaurant. It was run down. The prices were outrageous. It cost me $60.02 for dinner including a 'Bloody Mary' made with... More
