I wanted to like this place. It has an interesting location, right on the foot of the pier, but the windows don't give very good views. The food was not exceptional, and the waitstaff was forgetful with drinks. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but this appeared to be a typical restaurant that could be found anywhere.

While on vacation, we decided to come for dinner and had high hopes for a wonderful seafood dinner. The place is very quaint and a perfect location with ocean breezes and a view that is amazing. They even had binoculars available for watching wildlife. But honestly, the food was extremely disappointing and especially considering what they are charging. We asked... More

Loved the location, the booths with low windows, and the provided binoculars. Food was pretty good, but felt pricey. However I will say they gave us more garlic toast than we could ever eat so took the leftovers to the pier to feed the sea gulls. I had the scallops and shrimp charbroiled....Delicious! Hubby had the same thing only cooked... More

I ordered Halibut sautéed in garlic and butter with mushrooms with baked potatoe, garlic bread and cup of clam chowder. The chowder was incredible! The Halibut was good. The blackberry pie was pretty good. I did NOT like the restaurant. It was run down. The prices were outrageous. It cost me $60.02 for dinner including a 'Bloody Mary' made with... More

I've been coming to this restaurant for at least 30 years every time I'm passing through the area (usually on my way to or from Redwoods National Park. I first came for the setting. The restaurant is at the very end of the road down at the tier. Lots of parking. Walk out on the pier if you have to... More

My favorite place for fish and chips in Trinidad. Others have complained about the cost but I don't mind paying for good food, good service and a clean facility. Also taking a walk on the Pier after a meal makes it just perfect.

I always love finding an off-the-beaten-path joint. Right on the bay you can watch the waves and fisherman and fog roll in. But, lunch was pricey for what wasn't fresh caught seafood. The plate looks piled high, but the seafood portions on the mixed plater we ordered for $20 were tiny, greasy, served with mostly fries. The cocktail sauce was... More

This place has great views of the water but that is about all I can say was great about it. The food had very little flavor and was very over priced for what it was. I do not think I would return.

This cafe sets at the base of the pier of Trinidad. Clean facility with fabulously friendly wait staff. Even though we only had coffee (multi choices) and pie, numerous customers were enjoying breakfasts of Hugh pancakes and generous servings of eggs, hash browns and meats. Blackberry pie is a specialty. Super Server Mareva was informative in addition to making suggestions... More

My only disappointment was that the seafood was not freshly caught. The waitress said the only local item was oysters. Photo is from our table.
