The best restaurant in Trinidad! All of their food is amazing! From locally caught sea food to attention to detail entrees, the appetizer board is amazing and the creme de le creme is the best! Don't miss this restaurant on your way!! We go here every year were in town! Sometimes twice in a row!

This is a very highly thought of restaurant in Trinidad, CA. I made a reservation for my 30th wedding anniversary three weeks in advance. We ordered the special and it was very tasty. Huge wine selection. Ordered oysters which we did not receive, but also were not charged for. Service other than that was decent, and they brought us a... More

We have visited the Larrupin Cafe in the past and were looking forward to returning. The place is an eclectic large old house with oriental rugs and great fixtures. Our server was excellent - knowledgeable, courteous and provided a well timed meal. My wife is vegetarian and we both enjoyed vegetarian appetizers and entrees. We shared Brie en croute and... More

This is a lovely little restaurant in Trinidad. The patio area has tables surrounding a unique koi pond and we found the atmosphere magical. Lights and heat lamps created a romantic glow. The inside feels very homey, artsy and whimsical, all at the same time. We loved this restaurant so much, we came back a second night. The appetizer boards... More

My husband and I shared a delicious dinner in the patio of this fine restaurant while listening to a lovely couple playing jazz favorites.

Excellent food and service. We sat in a lovely garden. It was a real treat! Their homemade sauces are to die for. We were surprised to receive an appetizer. They include this yummy spread with every meal.

We were visiting from the Bay Area and had the unfortunate experience of eating here. We cannot believe this restaurant is highly rated. All three meat dishes we ordered were overdone and dry. The beef brisket was particularly bad and tough, and almost impossible to cut.The salads were soggy. We ordered a bottle of wine, and the waiter just filled... More

We stayed in Trinidad and took the short drive to Larrupin for dinner. It was the best meal on our pacific coast drive at an unusual place. Very eclectic restaurant in what was once obviously a 2 story house. They had a patio with live music outside, seating inside and outside. Everything including the service was outstanding with barbecued oysters... More

I can't say enough about this place! We called at the last minute for a reservation while on the road. This was undoubtedly the best restaurant of a 6 day trip! Staff was friendly and attentive. Fish was delicious and as fresh as can be. Live music, soft but GREAT, on the nite we were there. Ahhhhhhh. Loved every single... More

This place is pretty quirky, and we loved it! It is on the higher end price-wise, but we felt it was well worth the cost in the end. Our visit was on one of the evenings with live jazz music, which was very nice! Tried the ribs, which were outstanding, as well as the prime rib special, which was just... More
