The food is scrumptious and the environment is lovely. My husband and I eat there whenever we are in the area (once or twice a year). Dinner comes with an appetizer tray which is very good but we always add the baked garlic which is delicious. This time my husband had the fresh Klamath River oysters and the special smoked... More

What a delight having a delicious meal at the Larrupin Cafe. We ate on the patio and it was very comfortable and the jazz trio was a real treat. We had the blackened salmon and the pork tenderloin both of which were very good. Lovely place to dine with very good service.

My husband and I shared the chicken in phyllo dough, as I had never that particular preparation before - it was really good, and very filling. The most amazing part of the meal was the house appetizer platter given at the start of the meal. All of the ingredients were superb on their own, and all could be combined in... More

This restaurant was really good in all ways. The décor was unusual and eclectic - with a colorful Chihuly glass sculpture in the dining room! The food and service were excellent. This was a nice change after days of road tripping. Highly recommended.

Me and my three colleagues had a business dinner and we all enjoyed our entrées. A surprise treat was the appetizer plate our server brought us. We sat on the patio which I highly recommend. It was a cool evening and the heat lamps kept us nice and toasty. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, my two colleagues enjoyed... More

Larrupin Cafe is the best discovery for truly outstanding meals on the North Coast. There are no bad options here, their dinner salad was garden-fresh, and the chef for the mesquite grill is a master. The mesquite grilled oysters were fresh from Humbolt Bay, and the best I've ever tasted. The fresh fish is locally caught and grilled to perfection... More

There were 4 of us enjoying the ambiance here at Larrupin Cafe. Final cost about $150 for three meals and a bottle of wine. A little pricy, I thought.....but it is very nice. Service was good and food was very good. Certainly worth a try. Beer & Wine only!

We dined at the Larrupin Cafe on our first night at Trinidad. As soon as we entered the cafe we noticed the beautiful interiors done up in great detail. On the first floor the seating was cosy and romantic. Lots of carpets all over and funky art work. The food was excellent and very well presented. A highly recommended place!
