Had dinner last night at this wonderful restaurant, and, like previous visits throughout the years, they did not disappoint! The food and ambience are, in a word, delicious! The attention to detail and the professionalism of the staff have me returning each time I'm in the Trinidad area. Such a gem on the north coast! Don't miss an opportunity to... More

A beautiful restaurant off the beaten path in Northern California. It has a visually comfortable atmosphere decorated with Persian carpets on walls and tables and since it is December topped of with ornate, elegant Christmas decorations. Service was top rated and a delicious dinner was served at perfect pace. The cod special was amazing. There was funny part of the... More

One of my favorite places, It's had its ups and downs, but last night was a completely perfect meal. Stick with the fish, if you like fish. This is the coast, after all. But some prefer the meat. Be sure to have the twice-baked potato* and the coeur a la creme. The appetizer plate comes with the dinners or you... More

Wow, this place has it all -- unique, cozy, elegant ambiance in a charming old house, fabulous Southern-accented food (including a great bbq brisket), warm service and -- as an added bonus -- unobtrusive but lovely live jazz piano on the evening we visited. The fact that we encountered this on a rainy Sunday night at the end of October... More

I arrived to this restaurant in the middle of the forest on a rainy night without a reservation. The parking area was quite full, so I almost lost hope. After a few minutes the hostess seated me in the first floor dining room. The decor is European inspired, warm and cozy. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. There... More

Where to start with this review? First of all, we just lucked into finding the Larrupin Cafe. It is located south of Trinidad on Patrick’s Point Drive, so it is sort of off by itself. We only really noticed it as it was on the way between our rental house and Trinidad. From the outside you certainly would not expect... More
