I was craving for prime rib but since Lawry’s was a little far, my wife & I tried this restaurant in Torrance for the first time. Can be a little crowded but it didn’t disappoint... craving for prime rib satisfied!
Grilled shrimp was wonderful as was the spumoni ice cream cake., very nice salad. Steak as nicely done, delicious bread - very happy with everything. Also like the sort of old school cocktail lounge atmosphere with the red leather booths. Service was friendly and efficient...! Would definitely go back if in town again.More
Talk about an experience. First I thought I was in a scene of West World where I was transported back in time. You walk into 1963 where your bar tenders are familiar with all their local drunks. Atmosphere is good food is delightful and for...a brief moment in time you are not in the thrust of Fake LA . A must stop for any tourist in SoCal.More
We wanted to go to an old style steak House for a leisurely dinner but it was not leisurely. It's evident they want you in and out quickly, no relaxing between courses. Cocktails a bit slow coming, then soup and salad while hardly having time...to sip the drinks. The the appetizer AFTER the soup and salad. Check came without asking if we wanted dessert. Food was ok, nothing special.
Might work for you if you you are in a big hurry. This was at about 6:30 pm on a Friday.More
I have eaten here on many occasion. The prime rib is excellent and cooked for your pleasure. Waiters and waitresses go out of their way to ensure a wonderful evening is had by all. Must make a reservation, especially on the weekends. During the weekdays...there are some busy times.More
