Dine-in and or pick-up desserts/goodies at Kings Hawaiian at least 5-6 times a year. Food is great. Love the Kings Hawaiian dinner roll ... that's da bomb! Enjoy the background music. Staff is friendly.

Great food, low prices, generous portions. Friendly wait staff. Fantastic bakery. Try the saimin, or the nachos. You will not regret it.

We have been here for their EXCELLENT breakfasts and dinners. It's really hard to control those callings from one's sweet tooth walking past the bakery display on your way to dine. Then to pass again on your way out. Pure torture! Not a bad item on the menu! Fond of Huli Chicken....

There were six of us. We all tried something different. I have the mixed plate and others have salads, burgers, and Hawaiian thanks. The food was OK. The service is lacking and there was more than one time that we could not find our server. Nobody is clamoring to come back to this restaurant soon. We did stop at the... More

If you can't get to Hawaii for your Kahlua pork fix, then this is the place. A combination bakery and restaurant that cranks out traditional Hawaiian fare. Order at the counter and your food is prepared and ready in a short amount of time. This is a small place, so you may have to wait for a table. It's also... More

When we are in the area, we usually drop by here for breakfast and to pick up baked goodies. They have never disappointed us (except when things are sold out) Breakfast in general is good. I usually get the Big Island Breakfast, which is big, filling, and can keep me going well into the afternoon. Service is usually good and... More

If you're on the mainland and having Hawaii withdrawals or homesick, King's Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant is a great place to go. While I've had really really good food in Hawaii, this does the job on the mainland. There are so many great dishes here. Try the macadamia onion rings and the sampler plate. They have all the good comfort... More

As others have stated, this place is known for its bakery and Hawaiian style cooking. My son had the Kailua pork lunch plate, wife had the braised short rib and I had the Bbq chicken salad. Hugh portions in a friendly relaxed place. Generous portions. We ordered a side of fried rice and shared their Paradise Cake. All the food... More
