We ordered the Scardino's Special Pizza (hold the onions). We have also ordered the same pizza to go. It is very good pizza. The service was very good and we liked the ambiance. The garlic bread served before dinner was excellent. We shared a cannoli for dessert- it was perfect. I can't wait to go back to try some of... More

We had a family birthday party at this restaurant and overall we were pleased. They give you a lot of food and the prices are reasonable. The service was good and the wait staff are very accommodating. My husband ordered the spicy spaghetti with a meat ball and a sausage. We shared so I got to taste it and the... More

The atmosphere is charming, the hostess a bit snooty, the pizza I ordered took only 10 minutes to cook, there was no crust, the mozzarella tasted like cardboard, it was flavorless, The price reasonable, only 10.50 for a small one. I did order the tiramizu, $7, very reasonable since it was delicious, I really don't think they cook it in... More

This place has been in the neighborhood for many years and is family owned and operated. Generous portions, pasta cooked to perfection and fabulous sauces. I could drink the marinara, it's so good. For dessert you have to try the house made tiramisu. It's grandmas recipe and certainly worth the calories. Pizza is one of the best in the area.... More

We always drive by and always forget about this place. We were thinking of Italian and finally stopped by. First off I am not a wine drinker but they did have a large selection of wines. There were various pastas to choose from, pizza, seafood, & salad. We ended up getting fettuccine alfredo and the special, a mushroom risotto with... More

It's been couple of years since we came here .. very cozy place with great varieties, whether you get sea food pastas or other options you can't go wrong. I had chicken parmigiana with rigatoni and meat sauce and it was very delicious x especially the fresh roasted veggies. Simple and straightforward Italian food, that is very delicious. For deserts... It's been several years since we've been here and I doubt we'll wait that long again! We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the Chicken Piccata and the Italian Sausage & Peppers lunch plates. Prior to their arrival, some warm, soft, garlic bread arrived and quickly disappeared. Thankfully they were quick to refill the basket. The wife's chicken came with... More

Italian restaurants either make it or break it based on their sauces. Scardinos nails it. I prefer red sauces(gravy) especially arabiatta. I have tried several of their dishes, all with different sauces and all were excellent. Great west coast Italian.

We've been visiting Scardino's for dinner for years since it is within easy walking distance. Over the years we've seen it grow from a local pizza restaurant to a first class Italian restaurant. Before we could just walk in but now we advise making reservations even though they've doubled their size over the years. One has a lot to choose... More

Smallish Italian with both a great value early bird menu and an extensive regular menu with wide variety of Italian dishes. Broad wine list also. The kind of neighborhood place one can go to over and over without getting bored. Very friendly service

Description
In a recent review The DAILY BREEZE wrote .... "There are some wonderful small restaurants that dot the landscape of Italy. If you want to duplicate the experience of traveling to Europe without the expense, visit Scardino's Italian Restaurant in Torrance."
We are a family owned and operated ristorante much like one would find in the neighborhoods of any southern Italian city.
Our authentic recipes originate from all southern provinces of the country. Our pasta, pizza and seafood is carefully prepared each day with the highest quality ingredients available, most imported from Italy. We also have an excellent selection of moderately priced Italian wines and fantastically delicious Tiramisu. The Iorillo Family - Phillip & Pauline along with daughters Tracy & Kristi - and their friendly, professional staff will pamper you with world-class service and Italian hospitality. Our intimate, warm Italian atmosphere makes Scardino's the perfect choice for entertaining your family & friends.
