Scardino's is a great place to have a nice informal dinner with family or friends. The food is good to excellent, depending upon your selection and tastes. Its not a place for fresh fish, or lamb but more for southern Italian comfort food. Pasta and Pizza reign supreme here and the sauces are very good. They do a lot of... More

Had a party of 10 that on whim went there for dinner. Restaurant was very accommodating and service was attentive and friendly Calamari for appetizer. Not fried but sauted in a light tomato sauce. Very tender and fresh. Penne papalina with chicken was flavorful. Pasta doneness was good and the sauce not too heavy. Chicken picatta was a hit and... More

Nice family owned Italian establishment. It's been here a while and the people I went with have been here a lot. I had the pumpkin ravioli and it was good. Had a lot of sauce, I would ask for a tad less when we go back. My friends had lasagna and spaghetti, and linguini with clams. It all looked delicious.... More

When my lasagna was put in front of me my six year old granddaughter told me there were ants on it. I thought she was teasing me. Unfortunately she was right - there were lots of tiny ants on top. We'll never go there again!

We ordered the Scardino's Special Pizza (hold the onions). We have also ordered the same pizza to go. It is very good pizza. The service was very good and we liked the ambiance. The garlic bread served before dinner was excellent. We shared a cannoli for dessert- it was perfect. I can't wait to go back to try some of... More

We had a family birthday party at this restaurant and overall we were pleased. They give you a lot of food and the prices are reasonable. The service was good and the wait staff are very accommodating. My husband ordered the spicy spaghetti with a meat ball and a sausage. We shared so I got to taste it and the... More

The atmosphere is charming, the hostess a bit snooty, the pizza I ordered took only 10 minutes to cook, there was no crust, the mozzarella tasted like cardboard, it was flavorless, The price reasonable, only 10.50 for a small one. I did order the tiramizu, $7, very reasonable since it was delicious, I really don't think they cook it in... More

This place has been in the neighborhood for many years and is family owned and operated. Generous portions, pasta cooked to perfection and fabulous sauces. I could drink the marinara, it's so good. For dessert you have to try the house made tiramisu. It's grandmas recipe and certainly worth the calories. Pizza is one of the best in the area.... More

Description
In a recent review The DAILY BREEZE wrote .... "There are some wonderful small restaurants that dot the landscape of Italy. If you want to duplicate the experience of traveling to Europe without the expense, visit Scardino's Italian Restaurant in Torrance."
We are a family owned and operated ristorante much like one would find in the neighborhoods of any southern Italian city.
Our authentic recipes originate from all southern provinces of the country. Our pasta, pizza and seafood is carefully prepared each day with the highest quality ingredients available, most imported from Italy. We also have an excellent selection of moderately priced Italian wines and fantastically delicious Tiramisu. The Iorillo Family - Phillip & Pauline along with daughters Tracy & Kristi - and their friendly, professional staff will pamper you with world-class service and Italian hospitality. Our intimate, warm Italian atmosphere makes Scardino's the perfect choice for entertaining your family & friends.
