Have eaten there a few times in the past and were pleased, but yesterday we found the place not so clean looking, and Fox News blasting on the TV. Dirt and vitriol not good for appetite, so we walked out.

This hidden gem is not far from Hawthorne and PCH, but you need to look. They have a great lunch special a few skewers salad and hummus for under 12 or a sandwich for about 7.50.The food and service are great I have gone about 5 times in the last 2 months trying something different each time

Many times we have been here and have always had great food and service. Salmon salad, chicken kabobs, gyro, lamb, always great food. Try this place and you will definitely be back again.

Aristo Café is my new favorite local Mediterranean restaurant. I've had lunch there twice in the last two weeks. The first time I tried their falafel and was surprised to find that it was actually bright green inside, as opposed to the usual brownish color, because it was made with FRESH garbanzo beans. What a night-and-day difference this made. I've... More

Small little restaurant near PCH and Hawthorne Blvd. Good food at reasonable prices gives this very good value. Staff is friendly too.

Amazing food, good prices and it's family owned and operated. Went with some friends for lunch and got their special for around $9. I got the chicken kabob's which came with hummus, warm pita bread, salad and rice.....everything was delicious. Aristo's was very crowded at lunch time but they seemed to get you in and out. If you love Lebanese... More

As a lunch foodie, I consider Aristo another gem. This place has delicious Chicken Kabobs and the hummus is the best I've tasted. We get full on the pita bread and hummus appetizer so when we get our Chicken Kabob Plate, we end up taking the food home. The grape leaves and baklava are also fantastic. Sossy and John are... We are not Arabs, but we grew up in the Middle East because my dad worked there, including in Beirut. The best Arabic food is Lebanese. I have yet to encounter humus as good as my mom makes, but Aristo's comes close and the chicken, kabobs and salads taste as good as what what was served in the restaurants across... More

We visited this quaint cafe on 8/29/12 prior to a game at the Home Depot Center, as it was less than 10 miles away. Being Middle Eastern myself, I was of course approaching this dinning experience with a discriminatory taste. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing, from the perfectly seasoned lentil soup, to the most delicious Baklava I have EVER had.... More

After reading positive reviews we had to try this place for dinner. And naturally one can get fooled with just one visit. But this little place is so good we just keep coming back. Having eaten there many times now we can confidently say that if you enjoy Middle Eastern food you will love eating here. I didn't even care... More
