The food there was really good, nice choices and not really expensive due to the fact your on an Island and they could charge a lot more.

Opting to go the whole way on the tour bus I said goodby to 4 of our family who foolishly chose to get off and walk the last mile! A long high climb faced them at their start. The coach climbed it easily!

Moderate selection. Enjoyed 3 street tacos for $12. You can get take away sandwiches. Beer and wine.

I was surprised at how delicious the bagels were. Would like to know the brand they sell! The flavor was amazing, and they weren’t chewy as one often encounters. Very light.

Actually not bad - they have a reasonable selection and are not too overpriced given that they’re about the only place you could get a quick bite from at the island. That said, the bagel with salmon was OK, but the $6 hot dog was...terrible, and we even had to ask again - as after 20-30 mins it still hadn’t been served. Seating areas are nice, with good view of the little inlet.More

We ended up grabbing a quick snack from the cafe because we missed the ferry departure. It was very busy and seating was difficult. The service was fast and the food was good. We ordered a beer and chili dog. Hard to go wrong with...the basics!More

For a small cafeteria style restaurant that’s the only show in town, the food is surprisingly decent and the specials are even better. There was quite a crowd from the ferry tours but the staff managed it all with good service, patience, and answered ridiculous...tourists’ questions without rolling their collective eyes. Pricing was reasonable considering the location, and the menu was varied.More

We stopped here for lunch before heading on our bike ride. It turns out to be the same company as the place that rents the bikes which makes it convenient since you actually pay at the cafe when you return the bikes (if the office...is closed, which it usually is at 4PM). The cafe is super busy especially since it is the only place on the island and with the ferry crossing about 1x an hour, makes for a captive audience. However, given all that, the food is surprisingly good especially their specialty sandwiches. It seems super crazy/busy but they manage to keep it all straight and deliver the food in a timely manner. The only mistake we made was to rent the bikes first (since it is based on availability so we thought they may run out of bikes) and then wasted an hour eating at the cafe before biking (you are charged hourly for the bikes). In hindsight, better idea to eat first, or after you return the bikes and use the hourly rate for actually biking around the island!More

Sandwiches and drinks are fine just not gourmet. Better to bring over what you like and supplement with a few cold drinks.

When on Angel Island this is the only spot for food. Unless you planned ahead and brought food, eat here. We did the Angel Island / Alcatraz tour and there is nowhere to get food after here. The menu is pretty straight forward. One of...us had a chicken wrap, and honestly 2 people could have shared this. I was here during the week, and it was pretty steady. I would imagine that weekend would be much busier.More

Not far at all, can be seen from the landing or vice versa. Great food made to order, not your typical frigerated sandwiches or packaged salads. Can take on board the ferry if your pressed for time.
