Actually not bad - they have a reasonable selection and are not too overpriced given that they’re about the only place you could get a quick bite from at the island. That said, the bagel with salmon was OK, but the $6 hot dog was...More

We ended up grabbing a quick snack from the cafe because we missed the ferry departure. It was very busy and seating was difficult. The service was fast and the food was good. We ordered a beer and chili dog. Hard to go wrong with...More

For a small cafeteria style restaurant that’s the only show in town, the food is surprisingly decent and the specials are even better. There was quite a crowd from the ferry tours but the staff managed it all with good service, patience, and answered ridiculous...More

We stopped here for lunch before heading on our bike ride. It turns out to be the same company as the place that rents the bikes which makes it convenient since you actually pay at the cafe when you return the bikes (if the office...More

Sandwiches and drinks are fine just not gourmet. Better to bring over what you like and supplement with a few cold drinks.

When on Angel Island this is the only spot for food. Unless you planned ahead and brought food, eat here. We did the Angel Island / Alcatraz tour and there is nowhere to get food after here. The menu is pretty straight forward. One of...More

Usually I am hesitating with these kind of places but here there is no reason. Good food - even vegan - for a reasonable price. Nice to sit outside, if the SF summer permits, and watch the seals taking a nap on the pier.

This cafe is the only choice for food and beverages on Angel island. There are no other restaurants besides this one. It is located close to the ferry docks and offer patio seating. They have cold beers, sodas and quick bites like sandwiches, snacks etc....More

When we went we had just finished our guided tour throughout the island and naturally we got hungry, plus we had timed tickets for Alcatraz soon. The service was moderately fast and the food was very good there was also an amazing view of the...More

The Cantina is pretty much the only place to eat on the Angel island tour. I guess that means they can charge the captive audience whatever they want. The menu had a decent variety, some healthy, some not. I had the gluten free power salad...More

Not far at all, can be seen from the landing or vice versa. Great food made to order, not your typical frigerated sandwiches or packaged salads. Can take on board the ferry if your pressed for time.
