The food is good but not special, a bit pricey for what it offers, especially at breakfast but you don't go there for the food, you go for the views, and what a view it is ... directly on the rough rocky Pacific coast

We went to try the new chef and a very good new menu at the Black Point Grill. Service was great and there were many local wine choices. We sampled the steak with bleu cheese and roast chicken - both exceptional. The strawberry/butter lettuce salad - the BEST! The view is always gorgeous - right on the ocean. We were... More

The Black Point Grill at the Sea Ranch Lodge has a new chef and the food has returned to delicious . The service was friendly and competent and the arugula salad was great along with very plump, tasty mussels and great chicken and pasta. Views gorgeous as always

We dined here for lunch last Tuesday afternoon. We had just gone hiking out on the Bluffs and we were starving so of course I was expecting the very best. My granddaughter's bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato sandwich was good. My albacore tuna melt was pretty darn good as well as the two salads my granddaughter and daughter had. Unfortunately,... We stayed at the Sea Ranch Lodge and had made a dinner reservation months out requesting a table by the window. We arrived and were told all the window tables were reserved and she would get in trouble if she sat us at one of them. After the day we had we just took the table she gave us. A... More

We stayed at the Lodge, eating here our first night. We had the calamari and burrata for appetizers, then the salmon and yellowtail for mains. The salmon was delicious, though the yellowtail was a bit overcooked for our taste. There aren't many restaurant choices in the area, as it's pretty remote. Service was good.

So this is the only restaurant in the area and although it's good it's not great. The view is beautiful, make a reservation, and the good is adequate. There is no other restaurant with 15 or 20 miles so enjoy the view and have a good meal.

The food & preparation of food was terrible. They could not even get the eggs right for breakfast. Service was excellent. I believe you will be in trouble when Timber Cove reopens next month. So sorry to give a poor review but you must fix the food. We have eaten at your restaurant many times in the past. Never was... More

We are regulars to the Sea Ranch area and previously have eaten at Black Point Grill in the Sea Ranch Lodge. This time will be the last. We were a group of 3 couples who each had a different entree. The clam chowder was out of a can, mostly potatoes and no discernible clams, served without bread or crackers until... More

Driving up highway 1 and found this place when we got hungry. Checked trip advisor and found mixed reviews, but we decided since we were there and the view was supposed to be great we would take a chance. The first thing I noticed was the funky smell when we walked in the lobby. It smells old and uncared for.... More
