They good food but it's a loud environment and I didn't enjoy the experience. Service is great the pork chop and baby back ribs are very good.

Locals in the Cambria/Paso Robles/Templeton area all know that this place is one of the best. I have been enjoying Ian McPhee's cooking (and his wife June's Creme Brulee) for over 30 years, first in Cambria at "Ian's" and at "McPhee's Grill" in Templeton. We...More

We've been to McPhee's Grill numerous times and have never been disappointment in food, service, presentation, home ambiance. My husband ordered the lunch special this day - meatloaf sandwich on fresh baked rye bread which we shared. Undescribably delicious.

Yes there is and unfortunately its one of the highest out there. If I remember (and I could be wrong) its about $20. Better to just go and have their wine. Their house wines are very good.

I am glad to know about your experience. I have the impression of Templeton being an uptight, conservative town! Other diners might be able to weigh in here about your message. I hope so.

I've lived in Templeton since I was 11 years old... Back when it was a po-dunk farm town. It's definitely lost that vibe and become more of a yupee feel, which I hate, but unfortunately it's the way things go when you live... More
