Had lunch here on outside table. Enjoyable because of great weather but very noisy because of the many idiots on their motorcycles making all the noise they can for attention. Birds flying around over the tables are not a plus either. Food was excellent.. had...More

One of the more popular places in Old Town Temcula and I understand why. Great original dishes, good prices and a nice wine selection with a good outdoor seating area. Service was exceptional.

We were in Temecula for my mom's 70th bday and ended up eating here on the first night. We liked it so much we came back for breakfast the next day. Service, food, and drink on both occasions were FANTASTIC. Can't say enough nice things.

Great drinks with quirky names found within! We tried the classic Bloody Mary 5/5 which includes a smorgasbord atop: bacon, pepper jack cheese, garlic, olive and a peppercini and loaded with spices and pepper for that anytime kick to get you going. The classic peach...More

Service was great, food was good. We had a creamy IPA that was delicious. We shared some starters: the Saku Ahi Tartar was good, just a little bit too much red pepper. Homemade pork rinds were served warm and sizzling on a tray with lime,...More

Very expensive food that was really just mediocre. Not sure what the rave is about with all the previous reviews. Maybe we just arrived on a bad day. We ordered the bison burger, 1909 burger and the vegetarian burger. THe buns were dry and tasted...More

Located on Front St in Old Town Temecula, this prohibition themed restaurant comes complete with a handle bar mustache bartender! Great cocktail menu. I got the vegan burger and it was delish. My husband had a bison burger. They don’t skimp on the side salad...More

I was with a group of 12 very picky ladies from Newport Beach, CA and needed a last minute dinner place in downtown Temecula for our group. I really did not care about the quality of the food but needed decent wine and a variety...More

Old Town has really changed over the years. Used to be a sleepy little area off the freeway. Now it’s a full blown, packed tourist spot, and 1909 is no exception. Was very crowded and was about 45 minutes before we were called for our...More

1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. In fact, several bullet holes are still in the ceiling. Today, the building serves as an ideal spot for unique food, handcrafted cocktails and craft beer. 1909 has an industrial appearance that is still inviting and fun. Sit on the huge patio for sun and people watching or, sit inside for a pub atmosphere unlike any other in the Temecula valley. We even have dog bowls for our four-legged friends! Whether you come by with the kid's for brunch or late night Saturday with friends, 1909 and the crew are sure to give you a great dining experience in Old Town Temecula.
