Travelled to have lunch with friends. Brought our elderly mother. They were so accommodating, especially when they had the wrong size tables. The staff was wonderful. We ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch items. My only criticism was the lox on sourdough slices. It...More

The restaurant's atmosphere is very welcoming with the metal mixed with wood feel. We ordered several small plates to share. The empanadas were the best offering. They make a neat Manhattan where the glass is "smoked" before the alcohol is added. Really adds a great...More

Went here for dinner with friends on our first visit to Temecula. Nice design inside and decent sized menu. I had a the plain burger which was huge with barbecue fries. Was well cooked and served hot and friendly attentive waitress service

It’s not really fair to base an opinion on one trip, so buyer beware. Didn’t realize this is advertised as a gastropub. Always thought a gastropub meant really good flavor pairings, not good ideas paired with non discernible flavors. I had the 1909 french toast....More

The food here is good and the starters great as a sharer. They serve lots of different beers as well as decent wine. Well worth a visit.

Although we had great service, I was not impressed with the food. We were celebrating a birthday and one of my daughters chose this restaurant in Old Town Temecula. Of the four of us, three had fish tacos and one chili. The chili was oddly...More

1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. In fact, several bullet holes are still in the ceiling. Today, the building serves as an ideal spot for unique food, handcrafted cocktails and craft beer. 1909 has an industrial appearance that is still inviting and fun. Sit on the huge patio for sun and people watching or, sit inside for a pub atmosphere unlike any other in the Temecula valley. We even have dog bowls for our four-legged friends! Whether you come by with the kid's for brunch or late night Saturday with friends, 1909 and the crew are sure to give you a great dining experience in Old Town Temecula.
