BIG group, short notice. Great work.

This group accommodated a group of 12 on a holiday weekend with grace and class. Food was excellent but we all avoided high priced entrees and stuck with reasonably priced sandwiches and appetizers as entrees. Slow service was the only issue and puzzling based on the crowd size elsewhere in the store. Def see the sunset from the outside rooftop patios.

Great food. Great view

Come up to Luke’s on Front and sit at the outside tables overlooking old town Temecula. Burgers are great and enjoying the California sunshine with a view of the street below. Waitstaff was friendly. Food allergy was no problem and good was hot and fresh.

Rooftop lunch!

What a great place! Luke's offers music, dining, and drinks all with an indoor outdoor experience. All food is organic with a lot of vegan and gluten free options. My husband and I shared the bruschetta, ceviche, and turkey burger. All were very tasty. Great atmosphere that also offers services for special events.

Had a scheduled event with Luke's on 10/3, we knew in July we needed to cancel the event due to covid and majority of our guests coming from out of town couldn't travel. Even after repeated calls, emails, texts we still have yet to receive a call or response from a manager regarding our event and subsequent deposit. Maybe they won't refund the deposit, maybe they will, but we would've expected much better customer service from somewhere we were planning to spend thousands of dollars with. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere for events in the Temecula area, there are much better choices.

Kelly the owner is unresponsive when trying to book an event!

I would have loved to held my son and his fiancés rehearsal dinner at Luke’s on Front in June this year but Kelly the owner was very unresponsive via by email and phone for any questions regarding reservations. I would NEVER try to book a reservation here for an event , if you coming from out of town. Kelly was terrible and very unresponsive and had her employees lie for her. Jena H.

A high spot for New Years Eve.

We went to Lukes on Front with a group of 16 friends for New Years Eve. There was a special menu offering choices in each portion of the menu. We were surprised and delighted to find a wide range of choices to please everyone. The food was delicious! All of the diners were happy with their choices and were still talking about it the next day. Best of all the service was outstanding. The waitstaff and the owner went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone going to Temecula.

Everything was bad about this place but the view.

Everything was bad about this place but the view. Terrible service, food , drink and staff. The owner did not care and would not come to the table. We kept waiting then left. Called and called left many message and owner or manager NEVER called back. We appealed our credit card. Why should I pay this this kind of service????

Luke's is on the top floor of a building on Front St. in Temecula. High ceilings and garage doors that open onto a balcony makes for a pleasant and entertaining environment. A casual spot for good food and drinks. Food was excellent along with good service. Nice view and no foot traffic.

Expensive, delicious hamburgers

Food: Slam Bam XXX Jam burger was delicious! Never thought I'd spend $17.00 for a burger and fries, but I did.. My friends had the meatloaf burger and fries which they liked.... Service: SLOW. It took 1 1/2 hours to order, get our food, and eat. Lots of waiting. Atmosphere: Cold and wet. We were sitting in an open area by a window with a breeze and mist spraying on us. They had a mister on, and said they couldn't turn it off... We moved, and it was better. Menu: contactless. You had to download the menu on your phone! This was really a pain! Lots of hassles and inconveniences at this restaurant...

I absolutely LOVE Luke’s❤️🥰!! The food “Fusion” is so very tasty. My Daughter’s Burger was served to perfection👩🏻🙏🏻… I had a bite😂. Fries are WONDERFUL & my Ahi on a rice “Tortilla” was the most incredible experience! Dining upstairs on the Balcony with the misters 💦was simply perfect💘!

Disappointing!

We haven't been to Luke's since before the pandemic, so this review update reflecting a recent visit was overdue. In this updated review, I'm trying to be as tactfully honest as possible. I had loved Luke's and am saddened that we now probably won't be back. The last time we were here (11/2019) was a 5-star experience. We had lovely evening ambiance and great seating by the fireplace on the corner overlooking Old Town. We also had a fabulous meal and fantastic server (who has since left). This time, it was a weekday mid-afternoon, still light out and although it was nice to look out at the mountains from the 4th floor outdoor vantage point, my view of the empty overgrown lot across the street was quite an eyesore (of course, I realize there's nothing Luke's can do about that!) We sat outside because the music inside was so loud. It was hot, but misters helped a lot. Our server was very pleasant and when I asked for a drink menu, she said they're still waiting for paper menus but she gave me a code to scan for the drink menu (beermenus.com)...not to be confused with the other scan code on the tabletop that instructs you to download yet another app for the regular menu (here a paper menu is also available, thank goodness). We never were able to access the drink menu, so we finally gave up and just had water! I ordered the Finney ribeye sandwich and my husband had a chicken sandwich. My ribeye was a thick cut, way overdone and hard to eat. The sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but I think a thinly sliced version would have been so much better. The chicken sandwich was delicious according to my husband! Although it didn't appear to be busy at all at this time of day, the wait was long to get our food. I see that many others have noted the same thing. I can't help but mention that in reading some 1 and 2 star Yelp reviews, owner Kelly C's responses made my jaw drop! I frankly got a much more negative view of Luke's management from her angry tone than I did from the actual negative reviews! I totally understand that an owner might get defensive when faced with criticism, but yikes, there's a way to approach a response that doesn't include arguing and slamming patrons on Yelp. And then I see a statement on their website (screenshot attached) explaining that: "Party's Above groups of 10 or more will be On ONE check due to customers impatience and bad yelp reviews. We tried for 8 years. We are not understaffed... Zelle. Cash. Venmo Exists Because we all have that Friend/ Family that ruined it for All ManKind" [capitalization, spelling and punctuation taken from exact quote] What?! Customers' expressing that understaffing seems to be a problem since they experienced long waits for drinks/food, is clearly a hot button. It makes me wonder how long this policy has been in effect, as we too had a long wait for our food with only a handful of tables occupied. There is a polite, customer-friendly way to express a one-check policy for large parties and this is clearly not it. Very sadly, this recent less-than-great experience, but more importantly, the overall attitude and approach of the owner/manager is a complete turn-off to Luke's for me.

Great Happy Hour Upstairs on the Patio!

Fun atmosphere and friendly staff in this interesting setting on the main drag. Great people watching! Casual food selections we enjoyed included the Mac N Cheese, Truffle Fries and Edamame.

Great location, great food, great service!

We were drawn in by the cozy-looking fireplace burning from this fourth floor corner restaurant overlooking Old Town Temecula...and the many great reviews! The hostess was very gracious and showed us the various places we could sit inside and out. We decided on a great table right by that rooftop fireplace. Our server Alisha was absolutely wonderful - very personable and so knowledgeable about beer and all the food options! Based on personal preferences, she brought three beers to taste - even writing down what they were and which order to try them! Chris' savage burger on a pretzel roll was especially amazing - the bacon on top was even super crispy! I went with the mushroom/onion fries and am so glad I did - they paired so perfectly with the burger. The food here is organic, grass-fed meats, with many vegan and GF options. The website needs some work, but great that you can even order online for pickup. We'll definitely be returning to try out brunch, happy hour and more dinner options!
