Wolfdale's is a great place to celebrate in Lake Tahoe. Our meals were delicious, the drinks delightful and the service spot on! The desserts were unremarkable, skip it and order the mudslide instead!!

High prices, small portions - fine dining, but you'd better have many courses, or a small appetite. Good service, attentive staff.

The food and service are top notch. Ask for an outside table in the summer. We went on a Thursday night when locals have a Bocce Ball league that plays down below in the restaurant's court, and that was lots fun to watch. If they have Tempura Soft Shell Crab on the menu make sure to order it! And also... More

We stopped just for martinis before another reservation, which we cancelled because the atmosphere at the bar was so welcoming and the menu looked great - and it was. We prefer eating at the bar - where the company was interesting, food, excellent and beverages right there.

This place is a must go in the North Tahoe Area. Being open since 1978 by the same Chef/Owner and Family is a testament. Always fresh and good consistent food, menu changes, staff is thorough and views aren't bad. Plus deck dining, bocce ball and fire pits in the summer.

Cocktails. Apps. Wine. Entrees. Dessert. Service. Ambience. All great. They really know seafood and asian flavors.

We celebrated a birthday here and had a special time. Started with great drinks - have a Jimi Hendricks! We shared many plates, like the beets, the smoked trout, truffle fries, halibut, and a molten chocolate cake. The service was excellent. Great view.

I'm usually one to sit at the bar...this bar. Bartenders, BP and Bob Jones are simply the finest. They're always friendly, quick, and frankly, entertaining, too. My preference for food is the Bay Scallop appetizer served on shells and eaten with sticks. Everyone seems to love the poke cones but I'm just not a Poke fan. This is a light-hearted... More

Ok, this is one of the best Resturant on Lake Tahoe that I have ever visited, clearly you pay for what you get, high quality, wonderful flavors and the best service. But I was taken there by a good friend to experience a small wonderful bar, with about 8-10 seats at this bar, lights down low, bark wood, professional bar... More

We chose Wolfdale's based on reviews on tripadvisor and were delighted. Food was excellent, service first class and the ambience delightful. Truly a local gem frequented by locals and visitors. Add it to your dinner venue list. You will not be disappointed.
