This is a very good Afghan/Persian style restaurant. The place has a nice atmosphere with a middle-eastern/Indian decor, with a nice buzz of the guests conversations (not bothering, just giving character to the place). The service is quick and efficient and there is always someone to fill-up your water glass or place the course gravy on the table. They have... More

Food is average, shish-kabob. Not that flavorful. I thought the prices on the menu is about 15% higher than some other similar restaurants. Given the location and food selection, it's a bit over priced

Excellent food - great service - lamb and chicken combination on skewers are the best! Also, the salmon and shrimp on skewers if you want to go meatless. All the appetizers are good - mantu and the sambosa's - yum

The food is great - Disdain from a waiter....not so great. This was the 1st time it happened but it was enough for me to say there are other Afghani restaurants around. And I don't pay good money to be dismissed by the male watistaff with a sneer because a man wants served next to me. I used to go... More

My daughter and I had never experienced Afghan cuisine so we decided to give it a go. My daughter had the Kabab-E-Murgh (Chicken skewers) and I had the Kabul's Combo Kabab (Chicken and Beef) skewers. Both were served with Pallaw. Both dishes were delicious and the portions HUGE. My daughter and I could have easily shared one dish and still... More

I had some sort of lamb in minced spinach and garlic over rice and it was amazing, I had never had Afghan food before but always willing to try new things and I was impressed. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the lighting was a bit too low in the restaurant and I don't think... More

It's a fabulous place. I especially like the pumpkin dish (the meat version is better than the vegetarian one, but both are good), and I don't think I've had a lousy or mediocre meal there ever. We've been several times, and will certainly be back.

We are always on the hunt for unusual cuisines. Afghan counts as that for us. It isn't really that different than other near eastern food, Kabobs, rice, etc. All the food we ordered was quite good. The rack of lamb, recommended by a chatty neighbor table was really awesome. Lamb can so quickly be over cooked or just be gamey.... More

They served the same plate twice with hair on it! We went to this place for my daughter's birthday dinner on 6/26. My daughter ordered a Kabab-E-Mahe. When she got her order, she noticed there was a long hair with curl at end of hair on the salmon. She showed it to the waiter, waiter removed the dish and brought... More
