We've been eating at Arroyo's since they were located in downtown Stockton back in the day. Many people say they're food is not the same since they moved to March Lane. I disagree. It is a great location, lots of parking, nice window views, Mariachi music on some days of the week, good for big parties, good service, still good... More

Arroyo's has been an established Stockton restaurant for many decades. I first experienced their excellent (and modestly priced) cuisine in 1983 when located on South El Dorado Street. The current location on Quail Lake is scenic and a great place for a date. Mariachi bands play on many evenings and the happy hour drink menu includes great $3 margaritas. Also... More

My wife and I visiting family in Stockton have driven by this place more times than I can remember, today we stopped in for lunch. The setting on the little lake is pleasant but the greeting when we came in, not so much. Our server more than made up for the greeting with her friendly, prompt and cheerful service. We... More

Love the home made flower tortillas. I eat here at least once a week. The food is always excellent and the staff is friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is happy and up beat. Very homey.

The Arroyos Restaurant has been in Stockton for several years and at its current location (much better than the original location) for about fifteen years. The man-made lake scenery helps with the ambiance while enjoying your meal. They have traditional Mexican food and their sauce is one of the best around, especially on their nacho plates. They have good tortillas... More

After we were seated, we waited for awhile before a waitress brought us chips and salsa and took our order. I asked if the beans are vegetarian. She indicated that they are not. But they do have whole beans, which I asked for. My guacamole tostadas came with the whole beans on the side, but the refried (non-vegetarian) beans on... More

I may be a bit biased but I have been eating at Arroyo's restaurant since 1960. I was five the first time I ate at the downtown location. The beef burritos are wonderful. The tortillas hand made and warm when served. The current location provides a nice venue and there are no franchises in sight. Just flavorful authentic food.

Heard some good and bad reviews, went to try it. Way to overpriced for mexican food, and kind of run down. If they charge that much, they should as t least fix the place. The food was ok but I'll stick to my normal spots. It's an ok place if you want mexican food.

I use to eat at the old downtown Arroyo's in 1971 and the food was some of the best in town. When they moved to the current location it seemed the food lost it's flavor. Two days ago we decided to give it another chance, since we just moved a few blocks away. My "go to" plate is always the... More

This is a great place to eat. It looks over a small lake and the restaurant are is top notch. The food is fantastic. I enjoyed their Shrimp in garlic sauce and the wife had the chimichunga. Both were excellent as was the service. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
