Much smaller than what I was expecting - 6 seats at the bar and about 1/2 dozen tables for 2-4 people. Also only 4 taps for draft beer - at least they were interesting selections (no bud lite here). Server was friendly, efficient, and clearly more interested in talking with the locals that were at the bar. Pulled Pork sandwich... More

First of all, this is primarily a beer garden for upscale full flavored beer. Having said that, if you are going to serve food, then try to make it memorable. During my visit they didn't. I had to try the frog legs since you just don't see them very often. Unfortunately, they were under seasoned. For dinner i tried the... More

To tell the truth, the dining and drinking scene stinks in Stockton, but this place is amazing. Among the best selections of beer anywhere. They have Belgian Geuze! And a lot of great things on tap. I have never been disappointed with anything suggested. Order frites and a series of sauces. I've eaten a few times here in the past... More

Been there before, like to eat at local spots. Stopped in Sunday to find a "Private Party" and was told they were closed on Sundays. Really? Last time I ate there it was a Sunday and their website says open Sundays at noon. I appreciate the fact that someone used it for a private party but to be told they... More

My wife and I came here for the first night of the Stockton Beer Week. A real small hole in the wall but a nice little unique place. We had a beer flight of four samples with four macaroons which was far better than I would have expected. Followed up with a few other beers and some sausages, frog legs,... More

Hometown crowd. Friendly atmosphere. Good beer. Not the best hamburger, but you go for the quaint atmosphere.

Very small place, drove by it two times before we found it. Limited seating but didn't have to wait long before a table opened up. The bar is small but the bartender(Jason or Josh) was very nice and helpful with answering questions and making suggestions. We did their flight of four beers which they had pair with a local baker's... More

On a recent trip to Stockton, we were planning a stop at the Valley Brew pub, but after learning they no longer brew their own beer, we decided to try the Abbey Trappist pub, which was a short walk away. The other reviews I had read we're quite accurate in that this place is very small! They carry a limited... More

A friend took me here about 2 weeks ago. It's a small place with a pub feel to it. The bar tender was friendly and efficient and although the menu is small the food was great and well presented. If I could change things I would offer customers metal cutlery in of a single plastic fork ! I'm not sure... More

Small little pub on Pacific Ave. We had the pulled pork sandwich which was very tasty, and fish and chips, again, very tasty. It was 1.00 night on Oysters. They don't serve crackers and your typical cocktail sauce, however they did bring out some toasted french bread after we asked, to go with it.The fries were hand cut, nice. The... More
