I go there first and foremost for taco Tuesday when their excellent fish tacos are marked down. This is not meant to be a five star restaurant but the food is always good, fresh, and sufficient.

Rubios is in a convenient location on Pacific Ave. in the Stonewood shopping area. The food is always fresh and healthy as they use only natural ingredients. Nice outdoor seating as well as inside.seating. A good meeting place for all ages.

Always a line, tables dirty, small eating area, small servings for the price, no choice in degree of hot sauce in food items.

I like the fact you have a choice of eating in or outdoors. It is a plus for a person who does not eat large meals to order from the child's menu and not be told you can't have that, you are too old or...More

The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
