Surf's Grill or the Parkside Cafe are the best bet for your lunchtime experience after a brish walk to the Rocks at Stinson Beach. Yummy organic filled sandwiches, homemade soups,
and quick, friendly servers will make your day. Do not forget to stop in at...Stinson Beach
Books for a look at the latest read, a good greeting card, stuffed animal, or household goods.
The selection there is not to be beat....and in a small beach town filled with CA history
from the last century. Watch for the hours to the local library to peruse documents and historical matter. Helpful people everywhere....and the old Airey's Grocery Store stocks Clover
milk, cheese, and great supplies if a picnic is more your style. I prefer to go to the Parkside,
because I love the atmosphere and the lovely display of oil paintings....delightful! Collect
Stinson Beach black agates on your walk....not many people know they are there!More
We stopped in at the Surfer's Grill after we decided to to drive to Stinson Beach on a whim. My wife had the fish and chips with the homemade tarter sauce. She absolutely loved it. The batter was perfect and the tarter sauce (did I...mention it was homemade?!) was out of this world.
Unfortunately for me, I decided to have the chicken nuggets. These were pre-made and nothing better than you would get as a kid's meal at McDonalds. If I had read a forum post before I had gone there, I would have known to get a burger or the fish & chips. Oh well.
Definitely try this place out if you are wanting a casual lunch while visiting Stinson Beach. Leave the chicken nuggets for the kids, and get the fish & chips. You will be glad you did.More
