This sit down restaurant features food from the Mexico City area, a bit different from the local taco stands. There is a varied menu with many excellent choices. I particularly recommend the three varieties of molé. The restaurant is family friendly. Live music is featured...on the weekends but is very loud and makes conversation difficult.More

This is a sit down restaurant with an extensive menu and excellent food. There is a lunch section which is available for dinner as well if you desire a lighter meal. The food selections are interesting and more diverse than the typical Mexican fare. In...particular, I love the molé, which comes in green and white as well as the traditional red. Each dish I have tried there on several visits has been tasty and well prepared. My only concern is that the live music on weekends is oppresively loud and there is really no place to sit where comfortable conversation is possible when the music is playing.More

Different from your usual Tex-Mex food, interesting tastes and ingredience. Multiple moles to choice from. They also serve Tex-Mex if you desire. Worth a trip for a different taste treat.

Mexico City Cuisine is a whole different way of preparing and more especially, the taste. This is not your typical Mex restaurant. Fast service and plenty of free parking.

Three of us happened upon this place Wednesday morning and were the first customers. Allen greeted us cheerfully with very good house coffee as well as a cup of specially spiced coffee that was delicious! A full breakfast menu offered difficult choices, but the specialty...of the house seemed to be chiliquilles covered with different sauces and the “moles” which were served atop various items. Moles are difficult to make correctly and the three (red, green and white) were all outstanding! They also served red sauce and green sauce as well as a red salsa with chips. All were great! We started with queso fundido, a blend of melted cheese and chorizo served with hot corn tortillas. Great! Then I had the chiliquilles with creamy chipotle sauce with added carne asada. Excellent! We all loved this place and would love to go back to continue trying everything else on their menu! The sauces truly make Rana’s very special! Highly recommend!!!More

Sometimes finding a neighborhood restaurant with savory dishes, excellent choices, and great prices that has polite, professional and helpful servers can be seen as a blessing. At Ranas you have all of this in addition to a very clean, safe and friendly environment that is...well managed and out performs most other restaurants for a really good and filling breakfast. As well as many mores breakfast's, I intend to enjoy lunch and dinner there for years to come. When you are lucky enough to find a perfect spot that brings you great pleasure, enjoy it as often as you can because memories are just not nourishing enough should opportunities to visit ever end.More
