Average. They show it as "Authentic Thai food". There is nothing authentic about it. It's been butchered to suit the American tastes, nothing wrong with that, but don't say you are authentic Thai when you are not. There is not a Thai person in sight, all the staff and the cooks are Chinese. The proportions are american standard so beware,... More

The menu choices were plenty and easy to read. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were less than I expected for the amount of food served.

We ordered take out from Thai Satay last night. The flavor was good, portions large, decent price, but it was missing the chopsticks, hot sauce and soy requested upon ordering. These missing items spoiled the experience. But shame on me for not checking the bag before I left the restaurant.

My wife and I were in the way to SFO intl airport. We were hungry so we took the Grand Ave exit to hunt for a place to eat. This was only about a block up from the start of Grand. It was Thai, and we liked that. We ordered the papaya salad and the Penang Chicken (curry style). The... More

Want to eat satay...then try them at Malaysian restaurant. This restaurant serve gpod satay but not great. Satay is from Malaysia and it is best with the Malaysian version. Any satay lover will know that.

Upon our arrival in San Francisco we were yearning for thai food. Business took us to South San Francisco and we found Thai Satay! It has been there for many years, but it was our first visit. We were not disappointed in the menu. The pumpkin curry with chicken with fabulous! The wait staff also gave us recommendations on where... More

Staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant as we were not familiar with the area. We ate dinner rather early and received excellent attention by the wait staff. Food was tasty and portion sizes were large even for three hungry males. Parked on the street and walked a block to restaurant. Would recommend this restaurant if looking for an affordable... More

Have never been in the restaurant but our office orders for delivery quite often as it is more convenient for us. I am not a Thai food fan but can review from the rest of our employees. They obviously love it since we order often

Been a fan of Satay ever since living in Malaysia for several years. this place is authentic. Plus it is reasonable in a city where the price of a light lunch can cost you 20 bucks
