I followed the map leading to Ben Tre restaurant but there was signage indicating that they had moved up a block. Ben Tre is now located at the corner of 398 Maple Avenue. The service was awesome and the food was fantastic. The orders were plentiful at least good for 2 people unless you're absolutely famished. Highly recommendable!

My husband and I thought we would like this restaurant after reading the reviews.However, there was nothing that stood out on the day we dined. I had the Banh Xeo, which was a beautiful dish but sort of hard to handle/eat. My husband had the house fried rice and the description said something about including a fish cake which we... More

You know you are in a great and authentic ethnic restaurant when most of your fellow diners are of that ethnicity. That was our experience at Ben Tre. We sampled a multitude of dishes and all were superb!

Just recently moved, I don't know how they lasted in the little place before this because the place was packed. Luckily, we sat next to two young women who walked and talked us through the menu and the dozens of choices and Zack, our waiter, was helpful too. The food was fresh and fabulous and the experience invites you to... More

Right on Grand in Downtown So. San Francisco, this is a great place for Pho. It seems packed all the time, with a waiting list at peak dinner time. Our service was great, and our food came out faster then I expected, considering how busy it was. Great service, great tasting food at a great price.

The food is great and authentic. The five spice chicken Pho is crazy good. They get really busy so they clean while you are there don't let this put you off. The experience is worth having. Bright and airy. If you haven't played in South City give it a try.

Ben Tre has moved to a new location at Grand and Miller across from City Hall. This is about two blocks west of old site. The interior seating has gone up to about 86 plus seats, Service is fast and great as well as time of order and when the food arrives. A great improvement in size of the restaurant.

From the outside, the restaurant would be easy to write off, but the inside is clean yet modest. What you come here is for the great real Vietnamese and other influces. Ben Tre is so far my favorite vietnamese restaurant in Norcal! They started with one store in Millbrae and i sure am glad they opened two other branches! Their... More

Good vietnamese. Five spice chicken is ok, but go with old standards like vermicelli bowl; pho or rice plates with lemon grass beef/chicken;
