What a great place! We are only in town for a few days - and decided to try out this new microbrewery. So glad we did! Industrial area, with a nice open beer garden in back (appeared to be dog friendly). Interior is open and...bright with nice industrial metal decor. Would have bought a t-shirt, but they were out. Hubby tried the porter, and was impressed. Many other customers seemed to be enjoying their food options. Lots of board games available. Looked like they have corn hole boards in garden area.More

Stopped on a layover in SFO, glad we did. Great outdoor space that everyone was taking advantage of, lots of social distancing and still people wearing masks, hanging out with friends. Inside looks like it could be alot of fun in non-covid times, lots of...pinball machines for another time. We enjoyed their home beers, and their food menu - really delicious. Everything felt very safe as far as covid, we will definitely stop back in next time we're in the area.More

47 Hills is a rare mix of great beer, great food, great ambiance and convenience/accessibility. To be fair there are a lot of great breweries in the Bay Area, but its unusual to find one that checks off so many boxes. The beer is awesome,...especially if you enjoy continental styles. The owner apprenticed in Bavaria, which you can pick up on if you pay attention to the atmosphere, the food menu, and, or course, the beer. It’s a seasonal rotating tap, so there may be different beers depending on what they feel like making, but there is usually one or two IPAs (this is California) and more than a couple continental styles on hand. If they have the stout on tap you should give it a try. The space is bright, open, clean and just a little industrial-chic. The food is really quite good – especially the wings and brats. And finally, the place is very easy to get to from 101 and it has its own parking lot. Even if you end up parking on the street it’s a pretty safe area. It is also very close to Costco and Costco gas. It’s a versatile spot, it makes for a good place to go with co-workers after work, to watch the game with friends, or for a laid back weekend beer brunch. Children and pets are welcome.More

Fun to eat at a place that makes the great tasting beer you drink at it. Had a good round choice of fresh brews and very nice finger foods with small bites that you could order and share and repeat for a fun time with...friends or co-workers.More

My friends and I have been customers for two years, but on the 19th. of this month, 47 Hills Brewery had a scheduled party for 6 PM, and we arrived at 3 PM; after ordering our beers we inquired about the kitchen and were told...it would be available in a few minutes. When we tried to order food, we were informed that it was catering only to the scheduled party and nothing was available to us and other people already there. Way to treat regular customers.More

You'd think that a brewery is a friendly jovial place. Not here. For some reason that's beyond our understanding, the manager on duty actually sent his bartender out to try to provoke our dog, our dog growled (only growled, not anything more) after the bartender...wouldn't go away and kept staring at our dog. The manager was there within 10 seconds asking us to leave. His claim was "your dog bit me earlier" (impossible) and "he lunged at my bartender, I saw it on camera." The manager clearly had it out for us, a couple with a 13 month old child and 9 month old dog having a beer and lunch on a Sunday. We were targeted. I don't know why. It's very odd. Also, how would the manager react if someone walked up to him, without asking stuck their hand in his face and then wouldn't walk away, continuing to stare at him? Given what we saw today, I'm pretty sure it would not be pretty. This is not the way to treat customers and I strongly advise at not going to this brewery.More

Found 47 Hills Brewing after renting car at a nearby car rental. Had a little trouble spotting the entry driveway since it is narrow, one-way and not well marked. But, once I found the place there was ample parking in the back, and a nice...café garden welcome to the taproom. Had the sampler flight of five beers for drinks and pulled pork sliders for food. Nice beers, and tasty & juicy sliders. The place is nicely decorated with a large number of surfboards. Had a pretty good and lively crowd for a Saturday. I highly recommend this place.More

Disclaimer: this spot is in my neighborhood My husband and i have been to approximately 90 breweries across the country Review: we love this place. Good consistent beer. Good food. Love the beer garden. And mostly just like the ambiance. They just do everything right....They make about 3 beers in house and they are all delicious. The garden is dog friendly. The decor is California with open ceiling with surfboards hanging from it. The music is cool. The live bands are fun. And they always play the Giants game. It’s totally our favorite local spot.More

Just got turned onto this brewery. The beers are quite good, the vibe is chill, and there is food (mostly hot dogs, french fries, etc). There are board games and pinball too. The staff is quite friendly and loves talking about what's on tap, what's...coming and brewing in general. Bonus: you can hear yourself talk, and the tables are spaced apart wide enough to not feel crowded. It's a bit hard to find (entry around back in an industrial section of town near the airport). Stop on in!More

I had the farmhouse ale and the old man had the Decoy. Both were delicious. Fairly busy for a Saturday night during the summer. Quite a bit of seating as well as a bar to stand at. Reasonable amount of options to choose from. Also...had a nice selection of sausages and fries. All in all a nice visit.More

The new spot is less than two weeks old but the owner has years of experience under his belt in the brewing industry. He had time to give a quick peek at the back. The beer was brilliant, had a great time.

I visited 47 Hills Brewing Company during their grand opening. The taproom is beautiful, with a clean, classy and bright decor. There is ample parking, outdoor seating and delicious beers. John Tucci, former head brewer of Gordon Biersch, and his partner Drew have made an...incredible taproom. Currently pouring 4 house made beers and several guest taps. If you love craft beer, this is a can't miss!More
