Happy hour is fabulous! 3-5 . The drinks are well made. You can actually taste the alcohol. The homemade pastas and the fresh seafood always makes this place a winner!

We made reservations per the advice of friends who live in town. We weren’t disappoited, very nice outside sitting, nice wine list, very good service, and the food was excellent. We will go back again when in town.

Came here on the suggestion of my wife. She chose the other two places we dined this week while we were in the Napa-Sonoma area. Does not look like much on the outside but very impressive once we were seated on the patio. Arrived just...after happy hour started and started with a glass of Prosecco for myself and a cranberry lemonade for my wife. Ordered a flatbread appetizer to start. Topped with artichoke hearts, tomatoes and mushrooms. Very nice indeed. Happy hour. Starts at 3:00 until 5:00. The place was somewhat empty when we arrived but got busier the longer we stayed. We decided to stay for dinner and Kameron took very good care of us. My wife had the cavatappi Al Pomodoro. I opted for the spinach ravioli with a cream sauce and house salad with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Everything was excellent including kameron who took good care of us. The place started filling up after five and I counted a couple of empty tables when we left a little after 6:00. For dessert I had the cream brûlée. I have not had this dessert in over a year and tonight I was not going to be denied. A very smooth custard filling and crunchy sugary topping. Being a pre diabetic I was not allowed to eat the whole thing. Between you and me....when my wife went to wash up I sneaked two more bites. Who knows when I will have my favorite dessert again. Hush hush now....our little secret.More

My husband and I were fortunate enough to take the advice of Inn of Sonoma's front desk's advice and dine here. The meal and service was wonderful.

We love everything about this place..the food is terrific..the staff is charming and the happy hour menu and bar scene is just what was needed in Sonoma. Plus..they are right off the Plaza with a big parking lot! Several unnamed places in Sonoma have worked...to bring in the tourists and alienated the locals. Now, many of the locals have gravitated to the Grille..its hard to find a seat at the bar..never mind..they are happy for you to take a table nearby. In fact this place is very welcoming and "happy" and that comes down from the charming Nepalese owners. The menu is eclectic and very good..and the soups are always top notch. We recommend"The Grille" to all our visiting friends..More

Always good..... food, vibes and service. Oysters on the Happy Hour are worth it! I've had steak here as well and it too was delicious. Most pasta's are made by hand and in house. Fun and local bar scene.

My wife and I were headed to a different restaurant but found it was closed. So we went to the Sonoma Grille instead and were glad we did. It wasn't too busy. We both decided on a nightly pasta with seafood special that was excellent!...We would put it on our list for our next visit to SonomaMore

The Sonoma Grill is conveniently located just off the plaza. We were there New Year’s Eve. And the cost was $75.00 each. We had a 6:00 reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. They had only one menu for the evening but there...were a number of nice choices under each of the four courses. Both my wife and I chose the crispy polenta as the first course. It was excellent and presented nicely. I chose the clam chowder and she chose the blood orange salad as our second course, both were excellent. We both chose the Filet Mignon-Napolitano as our entrée. We were not disappointed, cooked to perfection. And the Chocolate Torte for desert was to die for. We were aware who our primary sever was but the staff worked in concert and we were well taken care off. The service was fast but not rushed. Needless to say on New Year’s Eve they had a full house and hence we found the room a bit loud. They offered wine pairing for an additional $35 each but we chose to order a glass off the extensive wine list. It was obvious that many of the patrons knew each other and the staff (must be a local favorite). All in all a very nice way to spend New Year’s evening even though a bit on the expensive sideMore

We stopped by for happy hour on a Friday. Took a while for service. We order a burger, which was good. Shrimp cocktail, nice size and worth it (kinda hard to screw that up). Garlic fries were pretty good. Wings left a bit to be...desired. Supposed to get eight, only got 7. Some were so small it was a bit silly. Could get same at Wing Stop. There were A LOT locals there so presume has a good reputation.More

No parking along the square, so we drove around and decided to try Sonoma Grill. Dining outside was not an option as it was chilly. We were seated right away. Water, then a great Martini plus a large selection of wine (go figure). The Dungeness...Crab Cake was delicious! The Chicken Caesar Salad was special because small, tender inner pieces of Romaine were served. Nothing to do with food, but the solid-wood tables are beautiful.More
