We were renting a big house in Sonoma so decided to get a bunch of takeout to feed our group of 10 adults. We saw this place featured on “triple D” with Guy Fieri and wanted to give it a go. We had a bit...of trouble knowing how much to order as you order the meat by the pound. We tried calling in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday but the person on the phone was too busy with customers to answer our questions -“I have customers...I can answer one question”. To be honest that really put me off but after seeing the place (it’s tiny), I guess I can understand. In the end we decided to order: -1 lb Turkey (dry and delicious) -3 lb brisket (very tender) -2 lb ribs ( many more than I expected and our least favorite) -2 orders of the fried chicken (about 10 pieces in total-best item for me) -Qt coleslaw (very good) -10 pieces of cornbread (these were good but huge! 5 would have been plenty) -side of beans -side of fries -order of Mac-n-cheese fritters (4 to an order, just ok). If I’d have skipped the ribs and halved the corn bread and ditched the fritters it would have been about right. It was all packed up, hot and ready to go right at the appointed time and at around $250 was a decent value.More

We've stopped here twice on the way to Sonoma and have enjoyed a delicious lunch each time. Not only is the food wonderful, but their fresh-made lemonade is so good! It's a small place, easy to miss as you drive by, but so worth the...stop as you travel through the Boyes Hot Springs area to Sonoma.More

Great bbq, they also offer salads and even fried chicken. Quirky triple d place but worth the effort for a stop. Recommend the ribs with Sonoma sauce. Mash potatoes are a great side.

Amazing food! We got the combo for two and the meat was perfectly cooked. Two kinds of BBQ sauce are supplied. I preferred the Carolina style, but both were delicious. We also opted for the chocolate chip cookie and it was to die for! We...will make this a stop the next time we are in California!!!More

Don’t miss the giant flying pig over this restaurant. The BBQ if fantastic. Highly recommend the combo plate which comes with two sides. Includes rib, sausage, brisket and another meat. It was enough for two of us to share. For sides we got the fries...which were piping hot and had a dusting of spice. Also got the greens which was a cold broccoli. Once you get your plate there are several sauces to pour over the meat. A hot sauce, Carolina or an unnamed other sauce. I grabbed the unnamed and found it delicious. Reminded me of good bbq sauce I used to get in Texas and Oklahoma. Sorry. No pics. Too hungry to wait. Duh right in as soon as it came out.More

At the end of a long day enjoying vineyards, wine, and the Armstrong Redwoods, we found this Smokehouse. They fixed me up with a special trio of my favorite meats including babybacks, brisket and short ribs. We sided up with a wedge salad, Mac and...cheese fritters, and garlic mashed potatoes. With a Lagunitas pint and a glass of wine was $80. I can’t say enough about the juicy flavor of their ribs and brisket. The meat literally melted in my mouth, exceptional flavor, and didn’t really need sauce. I had to remind myself I should at least try them, they were ok but not needed in my opinion. Visited twice during our stay in Sonoma Valley. We had seen this place on triple D and sought it out after watching it. All I can say is Wow, everything tasted so good. The meats are so tasty, smoky, tender and plentiful. The sides simply...delicious. But the daddy is the WTF burger. Go try for yourself and enjoy. Thanks for a great dining experienceMore
