The black bean nachos were amazing, definitely more than expected. Ambiance is quaint and relaxing. The main course was good, but a step down from the nachos. Good food all around and convenient location off the main road. Worth a stop if passing by.

We enjoyed our white peach bellinis, eggs benedict, and Machaca Con Huevos before heading out on a day of wine tasting. The food and service was good, it was the perfect way to start our day.

While the pancake wasn't anything special, the service, coffee and big bowl of fruit were fabulous. A very nice place for good conversation and broad menu choices

I really like this restaurant. It is literally good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I love that they have a full bar so even if you just want to have a cocktail and an appetizer, or even just a drink, there is a quiet spot for you at the Breakaway. . . The soups and the specials are awesome -... More

We stopped for breakfast/brunch mid-week, and found the service and food very nice. Both breakfast omelets were savory and satisfying. No option was available to substitute something for the toast, which we do not take, so that was the only negative.

Years ago in a different location people would line up outside the restaurant to have truly exceptional breakfasts. I wasn't sure whether the owners would be able to keep the quality and "magic" in this new and much larger location where they would serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is clear now, after a number of years here they have... More

We live in Sonoma and often choose Breakaway Cafe for a late breakfast when we're in the mood for eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage; in other words, the stuff we don't usually prepare at home for breakfast! The Breakaway has been a go-to for us for many years, and we value having them in our small town which is sometimes overrun... More
