Loved it here! We did our own little tasting tour of the restaurants in Sonoma Plaza and this was our 3rd stop. The bartender was very helpful and knowledgable of their menu and offered great suggestions for their wine and drink menu, as well. We had the beef carpaccio which was delicious and enjoyed a glass of rosé. We sat... More

The waitress was sweet but seemed like she had too many tables to serve. Drinks were not refilled in a timely manner on multiple occasions throughout the evening. Mushroom appetizer had great flavor. Companion ordered the heirloom tomato salad. Very good! Truffle fries were good. Seafood paella had a good flavor but rice was overcooked and crunchy. Companion had to... More

The food was OK and service was not good. The prices were way too expensive. The green beans in the dishes were too firm, the noodles in one of our table's dish was not cooked thoroughly. Our drinks were not consistently filled. The chicken in the dish I had was a chicken thigh. For $26 I would have expected a... More

Went to El Dorado Kitchen on a recommendation. The service was very poor - the food was average. We came for breakfast on a Sunday - probably would not recommend or return. Disappointing overall.

After hearing multiple recommendations to try this place, my husband and I made reservations for our first night in Sonoma. We had a long day of travelling from the East Coast, so we were excited to finally relax and enjoy our first meal in Sonoma. We were seated outside on the patio, which was lovely. Unfortunately, we were seated behind... More

I was here yesterday in party of four for lunch. Two of the four of us did not care for our meals, so not the best ratio. One of my companions ordered the omelet and only ate half, saying there was too stuff in it. I ordered the tostada, one of their best sellers I was told. Hhhhmmmm. It had... More

A great place for evening cocktails and bar food. Also can go with a group for an enjoyable dinner. The truffle fries and seafood paella are "to die for!"

First off the food was fabulous. My table had a couple appetizers, rave reviews for all and everyone loved their main course, mine was the halibut. The service was first class. Being the 5th night in Sonoma we enjoyed a drink other than wine, the name escapes me now, but it was good and there were many other cocktail choices.... More

We had an amazing dinner out on the patio, which is just a perfect little oasis for dining. I had the risotto (appears to change frequently/seasonally) and my husband had the halibut and we have both been raving about our dishes ever since. The wine is a given, but the cocktails were a fun surprise. Absolutely recommend - and if... More

Description
Executive chef Armando Navarro's farm driven cuisine is a collection of earthy yet sophisticated, complex yet straightforward dishes that showcase the essence of seasonal produce. Chef Navarro sources his ingredients from local purveyors and nearby Sonoma farms, a commitment and dedication that is in line with El Dorado’s overall eco-friendly green initiatives.Navarro’s deeply satisfying cuisine can be enjoyed at El Dorado Kitchen. In the center of the main dining room, parties of up to 22 can gather around a 21-foot-long table fashioned from a single wood plank reclaimed from a Vermont bridge. This table is perfectly positioned to afford each diner a view of the artistic talents hard at work in the open kitchen. An outdoor courtyard allows diners to enjoy the beauty of Sonoma. Enjoy dinner under the fig trees and the clear Sonoma sky or take your lunch pool-side in your own private cabana or on one of the inviting day beds by the pool. We also offer casual dining in our lobby, nestled next to the glowing fireplace.
