After a long day I needed a good sandwich to quench my appetite and bingo I found this place and lucky of me I was the last customer! I get a Sandwich/Vegetarian omelet type just what I needed. I ordered a capuccino and a fresh fruit cup. All Great at a good price!

Stopped in to the bakery - I had a sandwich and my wife had rolls with coffee. The breads / rolls / Cookies are great - good coffee and iced tea. Well worth the break.

I ate here for breakfast/lunch. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches that are yummy and the bread is fresh. My husband also got french toast, which was good. A good place for take out or a quick bite with some indoor and outdoor seating.

Basque Boulangerie Cafe serves the best sandwiches and pastries in Sonoma Plaza. The Cafe has little outdoor seating, perfect for having a cup of coffee or wine in a sunny afternoon. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Ruben sandwich we had was delicious. We also tried a Beehive danish which was a spongecake, custard and honey with almond praline.... More

I enjoyed part of a sunny afternoon here with a friend -- a perfect place in Sonoma to have a mid-day meal in the sun. The oudoor seating was very comfortable and we never felt pressured to leave; consequently, we lingered over good food and drinks, My quiche and cookies were very good and so was the coffee. This cafe... More

fresh baked goods and authentic European flavoured coffee - appreciated their efforts to provide stainless utensils to save our planet - small detail not lost on me....loved seeing the young boy behind the counter - refreshing change from the zombie-eyed kids in the streets😉

This bakery on the square produces excellent pastries for dining in or taking out. Quality is very good...and it is a well known place so it can get busy in the morning.

This place makes the best sourdough bread we have ever had anywhere. Whenever we visit we gorge ourselves and then buy dozens of loaves to take home on the 11 hour drive. When local Sonoma family members visit us they always bring us dozens of loaves with them. Their pastries are exceptional as well. Their customer service is stellar. We... More
