Loved that they offered a combination plate for dinner. Between the four of us we tried all the Danish entrees. All were well prepared and tasty. I am not a fan of sweet salads, side dishes or entrees. For me sweet only belongs in desserts. So, I did not care for the cabbage side as it had a sweet sour... More

This is great Danish food... homemade and very tasty. Individual service with attention to detail. Better than the Danish food in other resturants around town. Family friendly ambiance.

We went to dinner here because we wanted a true authentic Danish meal for our last night in Solvang. I am so glad I chose to eat here because everything was delicious. My husband ordered the pickled herring which comes with three different sauces and I ordered the medisterpolse sausage which came with a cucumber salad, pickled red cabbage, and... More

I have not visited Solvang for a number of years and was excited to see it again at holiday time. It is a charming village. We stopped for a late lunch at Bit O Denmark. The building and decor is screaming out for a little TLC. The entire restaurant had only one working bathroom to be used amongst all guests... More

The interior decoration and the menu definitely have a Danish bent, but you will also find some "international" dishes on hand. And while the owner is Danish, you will not have any use for that language when ordering. I had a "Flaeskestag" (Pork steak) with mashed potatoes that was very good, and my wife a Copenhagen Salad, that frankly could... More

We came here for a late dinner. We had the meatballs for an app and when I saw the two different shades of red cabbage,we should've stopped eating there. The meatballs were flavorful but luke warm. Then we had the weinerschnitzel for main entree. Once again it was luke warm and it was like it had been sitting around then... More

This was originally a school for children to teach their Danish heritage. I still love it. It is fine dinning...and naturally wine wince wine took over the area. You will like it.

I asked around the gift shops for the most authentic restaurant I could go to for the 'dutch experience' and everyone said to go here! I can't remember the name of what I ordered but if you have every been in the south they have a delightful sandwich that I think originated near Louisianna. It is a sub with baby... More
