This was a repeat visit for us. This small hole in the wall restaurant packs a powerful breakfast. Our service was excellent, our food was served in a timely manner. And the waitress offered beverage refills without being asked. We wer with another couple and the conversation was easy. Not a noisy place. We will return.

This resaurant has been around seems like forever. Same owners and servers are in the premises. Best breakfast served in the area.

Nice little neighborhood cafe. Super tiny shack at the end of the street. Food is always fresh hot and the staff treats you like family. Hard to describe, its just old school goodness. Reminds me of simpler times.

The HideAway is a landmark in Solana acquire. When you walk into the tiny space, you feel like you're in your grandma's kitchen. The smells wafting from the kitchen are delicious and the food is fresh and tasty. The ladies that run HideAway make you feel welcome and if you eat on the patio, they'll bring your dog a treat... Look carefully or you will pass it. Next year, I am renting a condo close to this cafe! The food and the employees are FANTASTIC! Don't miss it! Walk across the street to Fletcher Cove Beach Park and easy walking ramp down to the beach.

Ordered bacon & cheddar omelet and sausage & cheddar omelet, one with skillet potatoes, the other with hashbrowns ($10). Omelets a bit overcooked, making them dry except for the generous cheese that salvaged them. Best hash browns ever!! Crispy outside, moist and juicy inside. Banana walnut bread was tasty, but a bit overdone also. Water tasted awful, guess I'm too... More

The Hide-a-Way Cafe is where locals in Solana Beach come to eat. The cafe is small -- seating perhaps 16 people inside and another 12 people outside. But the tasty food and the cozy atmosphere make eating breakfast here an occasion for frequent repeat visits. My favorite breakfast is not on the menu. I order the Ortega chili peppers and... More

My wife & I thought we would give this "hide away" cafe a shot for breakfast one morning(you can actually see it pretty well while on Sierra Ave.If standing in front of the Post Office, look directly across the street and parking lot and you will see it). The food was so very good, we went back again the very... More

Hole in the wall near Solana beach entrance in a parking lot. Easily overlooked but two ladies were running in the day we came in and they were very friendly and helpful. Local hangout but the breakfast was fantastic, great omelets, good coffee, and good selection a true excellent breakfast stop if in Solana Beach or Del Mar.

I finally ate here after driving by so many times. The food was soooo good! An Artichoke/turkey/chicken sausage Omelette was advertised as a daily special. It caught my eye right away and nothing else on the extensive menu could convince me to order otherwise. My only complaints: they were so busy, it took a long time to get someone to... More
