This place has terrible coffee. So bad I tossed it after a sip. Their baked good aren't very fresh and service is so slow it's painful to watch. We live local and I've tried it a few times hoping I got a bad day. But all 3 times it was terrible. Don't go. Lofty bean is just down the street... More

I love this place to grab something yummy after a run or during a beach break. We meet friends after strolling 101. The kids enjoy their acai bowls, old fashioned donuts, crumb cakes, cookies. The PB Chocolate coffee shake is delish!

Nothing opened that day and we stump upon this place on our way drive to airport. Walked into the small place, surprised by the usual morning looking quietness. Local people, usual local fun. Good coffee and yes so so pastry but atmosphere is pretty cool. Some interesting characters.

The staff is consistently pleasant. The food so so. The beverages better. This is a place full of regulars. The best thing I have had is their cold coffee.

Stopped in while touring the pacific coast in need of some caffeine and found this cozy shop that allowed you to enjoy both indoors and outdoors while sipping Java. The brew both hot and cold were enjoyed. A definite recommend if in the area.

Great location with average service and average coffee and average food. Such a nice location with great patio and outdoor seating but just okay. Popular because of Coast Hwy location.

I ordered a 12oz coffee with a shot and honestly it had hardly any body. This is the second time I tried Java Depot. I like the seating and atmosphere, but the coffee will not bring me back.

My wife and I grew up in North County and spent many hours talking and sharing what was going in our lives at Java. The environment at Java is excellent for getting together and hanging out with friends. We don't live in the area anymore, but every time we visit the area we stop in for a cup of Java.

Went to java depot for a meetup. The location is good, the staff pleasant and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Had a cappuccino and liked it.

I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the juice and smoothie bar next door (same building). I had the coffee which was good, but the breakfast burrito was only ok.
