A good to spot whenever I’m in the area for a quick beer and a slice. Plenty of locals hanging out, Sport on the TV, plus outdoor seating curb side. A firm favourite.

We were not sure how this place worked, but we needed to order pizza at the counter, beer at a second counter, and then pick a picnic table to sit. They called our name when our pizza was ready, which was really quick.

The wait was 45 mins for a pizza- it was okay but not out of this world! Could have had more sauce so it wasnt so dry. It was very crowded so very loud yet we enjoyed conversation with the young people who joined our...table.More

Not very welcoming. Staff at counter didn’t speak much to us. Place pretty empty. Used the game machine with my young son, staff using machine next to us said the one were were using was rubbish & would just take our money. Lemonade only had...water in machine, I told staff at bar, my end of meal it still only had water in it. Chicken wings we odered didn’t arrive with the pizza. I could see were left out of the oven cooked, I asked for them & was told they would be ready in a minute. I went back again asking for the wings, staff started putting them in a basket then stopped to moved huge plastic boxes loading them onto a cage and pushing them out of the kitchen to the back. During eating our meal a staff member came up and told me I looked like a soccer mum struggling with my son who had just had a call from his weed dealer, said my son looked like a poster boy for pizza port. I asked him to leave us to eat pur meal. I had a salad as did one other customer & then sign up saying Salad Out. All in all a very bizarre place we would definitely not recommend.More

Pizza Port is a go to for local pizza and appetizer + beer dining. The atmosphere is active yet chill. Have been going for over 20 years whenever I visit San Diego. The only thing that has changed is the wait time. It’s best to...order online. The 1st time we went for this trip our wait for 2 small pizzas was 1 hr. (Which we were told upfront). The next time I ordered online and picked up within 35 minutes. The pizzas and most appetizers & salads are pretty good. I typically like the selection of beers but went with cider this time.More

We are so glad that we discovered the Pizza Port in Solana. We went just for the beer the first night, came back the next night for dinner, and followed it up with lunch before we left town. We had their pizza, their wings, and...of course the beer. The staff was so friendly and patient with us since we were new and not familiar with the menu or their long list of beer. The food and drink were exceptional.More

Heard about this place so tried it out. Their meat & jalepeno pizza special hit the spot. Don’t miss the nearby boutiques in Solana Beach.

Got home with the pizza, and it was covered with wrong ingredients. When I called Pizza Port, rather than offering to resolve, they argued that some of the toppings were right, insisted that "human error" happens, and said I could pay again (twice) for another...pizza. The place is dirty and overrated.More

We ordered pizza through the pizza port App. We were able to use different ingredients on the 2 halves. The only issue we had was the App told us the pick up time would be in a half hour and then after we ordered the...app told us pick up time will be in 45 minutes. There is no delivery to your car from this restaurant. You do have to go in to pick it up. The pizza was very tasty and we enjoyed it. I did notice that some people were sitting in the outdoor area eating at the restaurant.More

Great beer flights (many breweries aren’t doing these during Covid, for some reason) and pretzels! Perfect rest stop on a bike tour! Friendly staff.

My family and I travel to Solana Beach on occasion and rarely miss a chance to visit the Pizza Port for dinner. They have delicious fresh made pizza and salads and they even have gluten free crust options. Pizza Port also has a great collection...of craft beers to enjoy. It is a crazy, busy place every time I visit. We often have a wait to get our pizza and finding a table is like a game of Frogger... you have to jump at just the right time. But once you're seated, relax and enjoy a great pizza and some cold beer. Like I said it's worth it.More
