I've come to Rudy's several times, and find that it's consistently a good meal. Usually do take-out, have never eaten inside. I usually order a cheese and a chicken enchilada; the sauce is superb. The chips are fresh and crunchy, the guacamole delicious. The kids get rolled chicken tacos and a cheese enchilada. There's a park just south down the... More

We ordered the breakfast burrito and a carne asada burrito. The carne asada burrito was large, filling and delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a good experience for quick eats!

Lunch or dinner. Take out or eat inside or outside. Good draft beer selection. I like the carne asada, my partner likes the shrimp. Solona Beach doesn't have blackened shrimp. Call or text ahead, but they are fast regardless.

Went for lunch and ordered carne asada burrito $6, fish and beef tacos (under $3). Steak a little dry, but lots of it with guacamole. Fish taco was one piece of fish instead of small pieces. You can purchase beer. Sat outside under umbrellas. You can select sauces at a sauce bar including guacamole sauce. Good value.

Rudy's has long been known for their Carne Asada Burrito. For years it was the best carne asada in San Diego County and possibly the entire state. It's not at that level anymore, but it's still really good. They don't mess around. The Carne Asada Burrito is filled with nothing but steak and guacamole. It's very good and why I... More

My wife and I visited the beaches of North San Diego county this summer, and needed to fuel up before the day's activities. The first place we ate in the area was the Solana Beach location. Between this location and the Carlsbad one, we ate breakfast or lunch at Rudy's each of the four days we were in the area,... More

Rudy's is consistently good - try their breakfast burrito at any time of day or night! We've loved Rudy's as a family for years. Keep it up, Team Rudy's!

Turned out to be a little gem for Mexican fast food take out close to where I live. I tried it a few years ago and didn't really like it but went back recently and very good. Salsa bar is great too.

After recently moving to the area, I have been scouring to find a place like this. There are some great Mexican food places around here, but for the price this by far beats them all. So far I've tried the Baja shrimp tacos, grilled fish tacos and their chili verde burrito-all of which are BOMB. The salsa is the best... More

I tend to like simpler places with good food (I don't like to pay for tablecloths, etc.) and this place fits the bill. It used to be a little Mexican market that sold burritos, etc. on the side. Now with a new owner, they put cuter tables, and have beer, etc. You can also get horchata and some other Mexican... More
