Located across from the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Race Track, our third restaurant has been a San Diego North County favorite since it opened in 1981. This bustling restaurant encourages friendly and convivial dining, with the help of a comfortable oyster bar and cozy cocktail bar and lounge, and front-and-center retail market, widely known by those seeking to take home the finest in fresh fish. We also offer a private room suitable for a large party gathering.

Good food, friendly service, easy to find. We visited while staying in Solano Beach, and were delighted to find a great place without returning to San Diego. We will definitely return!

I've been eating at the DM restaurant for dinner for 20 years but never for lunch...just tried it and loved it. Same great menu, no wait, easy parking, casual. Service was friendly as always!

This is a large restaurant and on the weekends I understand it can be crowded. I had the scallops wrapped in prosciutto and my wife had the yellowtail tuna. Our meals were very good and our waitress was very efficient. They offer a large assortment...More

Sure, you expect the fish market restaurant to have great fresh fish and they do, but I recently discovered their fish & chips - which was excellent! They could update their side choices, but if you want super fresh fish this is the place. They...More

We had a late lunch and received very friendly service from everyone, from the hostess, to the waitress and even a wave from the kitchen! The tuna melt sandwich, but we were a little disappointed in the New England clam chowder. The texture was perfect,...More

Having heard how good the grilled spiny lobster here is we just had to try it. It certainly didn't disappoint. Friendly casual place with speedy polite service. The only negative were the very over cooked vegetables.

Pretty good fish restaurant is abusively, outrageously, overpriced. And they sneak it on you. They should go to jail.

We went for dinner and to watch a baseball playoff game. The happy hour oysters were $1.50 each and delicious. Also had the house Chardonnay (from Napa) only $6.50 and my dinner was sushi. Very fresh. My favorite dinner of my week in SoCal.
