We have driven by the Anselmo winery sign for 2 years and finally stopped in last weekend with friends from out of town. We were all blown away by how beautiful this place is, a slice of Italy in the foothills. We originally thought we'd just taste wines, but sat outside under a HUGE fig tree in the lovely weather... My family ate at Anselmo's on Pizza night, which is a Thursday evening special. The menu is limited to pizza, calzone, and stromboli. Drinks are also limited to wine, soda and water. The Pizza was very good and the calzone was EXCELLENT. We lived in NYC and my wife is Italian,we know this stuff! We ate under the beautiful old fig tree ,quite nice!... More

Gosh, it is so poorly run. Where do I begin? First I had high hopes for the new owners (the last ones were truly nutty, so people quit going there). It is a beautiful location with great facilities. We went there for lunch on Sunday on our way to Hat Creek. The only "main" choice was rib eye...they had a... More

We dropped in about 4:00p after spontaneously deciding to try wine tasting (not something we normally do). We tried five of their wines and took a bottle of our favorite one home. It was very, very good (which it better be for $50). Our waiter was nice, and vineyard itself was lovely.

We use to LOVE Anselmo's. Sadly, we went up this year after the change in ownership, hoping it would be the same and excited to see what changes they had made. Wow, we were in for a shock. The food was of poor quality, the service was mediocre, there was a significant amount of sediment at the bottom of my... More

years ago this was a wonderful, peaceful place to eat and drink wine however it ran into problems with the owner and the county, was put up for auction and the new owners have not done a great job of keeping the landscape up or the food service.

Went for valentines dinner. Had high hopes as our experience under previous ownership was great. The food quality has totally changed. Nothing was good in fact food was cold and the quality horrible. The view, the sunset, the wine and the service were great but skip eating all together way over priced and nothing in quality or creativity that would even... More

Recently the wife and I had an experience we wont soon forget. We were invited to attend a reserved dinner at Anselmo, along with a brother in-law and sister. The atmosphere was great, the eating area was clean but the waitress was slow. Even though we were not in any hurry, we waited more than ten minutes to get welcomed,... More

First of all, I love this vineyard. We had attended Thursday pizza night in the past when the place was owned by Anselmo, and loved it. Everything had been top notch: pizza, service, wine, and ambiance. We gave the new ownership a try. The location is still dazzling, the wine was excellent, and the pizza was very good. It was... Description
Anselmo Vineyards cloaks 15 acres of the ranch and includes a first class wine tasting room. We proudly serve three reds, a bold Cabernet Sauvignon, a full bodied Merlot and a smooth blend we call Majorette. Our wines are always served along with good conversation and fabulous fine dining experience, and complemented by views of sprawling green pastures.
