Great service, Delicious Omelettes, Good coffee, Generous portions. We love meeting friends here for Breakfast. The decor is hysterical for conversation, but could use a facelift. But all we care about is the food right? It's our go to!

Ate here once during our week stay in Shingle Springs. Food is typical of a cafe. Can't remember what we ate, just remembered there was lots of flies, which discourage us from returning.

Train Station has been an institution in the Shingle Springs area for decades. It still serves the best patty sausage in three counties but service and quality have been slipping lately.

We had a very friendly and good waitress, but other than that, this was not a good dining experience. The place was dirty. The bathroom floor was sticky. The food was less than mediocre. Dishes were chipped badly, both plates and coffee cups.

This place is just a bit farther from the freeway and we knew we had hit gold when we saw it was slammed with folks on a weekday mornings. Went inside and saw it is obviously loved by locals. The food is classic American breakfast...More

We were excited that we chance on a mom and pop restaurant while on our short vacay in Placerville. Ordered the bbq sandwich, a few pieces of meat on a greasy bun. The fries and pickle were the only salvation for $9.25, $4 kid's grill...More
