Best fried chicken EVER. Four ladies on a girl's trip to the wine country stopped in for dinner after getting a recommendation from a store clerk to visit the Barlow. We had amazing cocktails and the four of us shared two orders of their fried 🍗. It was really delicious. Unfortunately some of it was undercooked - pink. Yikes!! But... More

Not long ago, I watched an episode on the Travel Channel that focused on Zazu's Restaurant + Farm. Since I'm obsessed with bacon, I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for years. Apparently, they moved from a roadside Santa Rosa farmhouse-style restaurant to a more modern day factory-style restaurant in Sebastopol. I was hoping to see a galore of bacon... More

Very friendly. The owner was very busy working the tables including ours. Adds a great personal touch. The food was superb. Ambience great too! Oh and superb local wine from Sonoma!

Solo visit, so I had a seat at the bar and grazed through the bites menu. I ended up ordering the "bacon in the burger" - it was a home run. The restaurant opens up the window walls and there was a great breeze that came through making it quite pleasant on a warm day. I will be back again.

Yes they have many pork products but they have several non-pork items. With a group of five we had a Benedict with bacon, bean dish with eggs and guacamole, hash with two eggs and a big hot dog. Everything enjoyed their meals and we all left full. Outside seating on a warm afternoon was great. Service was good and prompt.

We tried to go here last year but it was a Tuesday and they were closed. We had high hopes for this place. It was Easter Sunday around 2pm. Lunch was planned but they were still serving breakfast, so we ordered drinks. Glass of wine and a beer. $9.50 for beer and $16 for wine. I can buy a 6... More

Zazu formerly occupied ramshackle quarters near Santa Rosa, CA. Despite appearances, the food was spectacular, and the restaurant acquired a certain degree of fame, including participation of the chef in high profile cooking contests. About three years ago Zazu picked up and moved to shiny new quarters in nearby Sebastopol. For some reason the chef elected to change the menu... More

We had dinner here during our girls' weekend per the advice of our uber driver. We started with some charcuterie and cheese, and a bottle of wine. We chose the cheapest bottle of red, and we definitively got what we paid for..it was not good... We ordered several dishes, but considering the price, were all pretty much letdown. The beefcheek... Stopped here on a Sunday morning for a shared brunch and mostly to try the bacon. The bacon was worth the stop for sure. Didn't love my bloody mary but the bacon made up for it! Sat at the bar and had a bartender in training. Only negative was that it took both the trainer and trainee quite a few... More

Disappointing! Hamburger was raw and when pointed out to waitress she just sad it was because bacon added & didn't offer to cook more. Additionally, restaurant policy is to add 20% service charge for everyone. Will never go back.
