If you read my other reviews you'll see that I'm not a big brunch eater - I prefer lunch food for lunch. La Bodega has changed my view of brunch. It's a special non-restaurant in every way. From the second you walk in you feel...More
I adore La Bodega! It’s like an anti-restaurant as it is “members only.” A bit unorthodoxed with service but very fun.
You go to the big table and get your side plates, silverware, napkins and water to bring back to your table.
You receive a...More
The answer is that this is a wine shop with great reasonably priced local wines usually from small producers whose wines you might not other wise see. They also have a great dinner restaurant from Thursday through Sunday and a Sunday brunch in a relaxed...More
They call it Not a Restaurant. They bring around many tastes of wine until you choose one for your meal. The food was delicious. Service was friendly. One person took my order and looked after me but every server stopped as they came by to...More
As the co-owner Meek says, “this is not a restaurant!” What it is, though is a great dining and wine experience! Be sure to try the mushroom raviolis. Rick the Chef pick them in the wild! And he is a saucier extraordinary! Tell the the...More
We had a wonderful dinner at La Bodega, a lovely small wine bar and restaurant. Every dish that the four of us ordered was well-prepared, well-presented and delicious. I probably had the best lasagna I've ever tasted, and we all loved the Ceviche appetizer that...More
This is a "wine club' first, with food served secondarily (supposedly). However they offer fabulously diverse Cali/Euro cuisine focused on fresh local ingredients --truely farm to table (which changes daily, sometimes twice in a day). Service is just not conducted in a typical manner --...More

Yes to your first two needs: there is a sample menu on their website and they are open on Saturday. Two of the many beauties of the locally grown and organic offerings of the Kitchen is their freshness and diversity, so the menu changes nightly. On the other hand, there are some "regulars" that are frequent options: e.g., the appetizer Artichoke Hearts, main entrees of Organic Chicken & Mushrooms, Petrole Sol, and Morel Mushroom Ravioli will not disappoint! Lastly, everyone has the opportunity to dine there but the wine club membership gives you a discount for all in your party AND the opportunity to experience some great local wines on a regular basis, price and amount to suit your budget and preferences. Check it out!
