The serving staff was friendly. That's what our takeaway was. The grungy/dirty/worn out menus were a turn off. I'm not afraid of germs but this was an immediate turn off. The food wasn't great, although the portions were huge. Chicken fajitas were disappointing that they were not served on the traditional hit sizzling pan. Chicken armed chewy and overall trade... We love this "locals" spot for fresh and authentic Mexican foods. The menu has lots of options and they are very flexible about adding / subtracting from some choices. ANY of the items with the pulled pork are fabulous, the burritos superb as are the fish tacos. Fresh chips and an OK sauce that could use a bit of pep... More

We were staying in Seaside and wanted Mexican food. We saw Jose's from the road and decided to try it. None of us were sorry! It is kind of a small place but they seated our party of 5 without delay. Chips and salsa that wasn't too spicy, which appeals to all of us. Soccer on the tv. We had... More

I have enjoyed dining at Jose's for 10yrs. I like the chili rellleno and the chicken burritos here. The chips are always fresh and the salsa is very good. One of my favorite restaurants on the Peninsula.

They have the best chicken enchiladas and chile rellanos ever! Their mole sauce is beyond compare. Service always awesome and friendly.

Stopped here because of the high reviews, but was highly disappointed. The salsa had that weird smoky flavor, and the food was sub-par. It doesn't stand out as a place that should have these high reviews except in a small town with limited choices for quality food. I could've eaten better at taco bell.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Good feed, good portions, great chips and salsa, and great guacamole. My favorite is the chimichanga, but it's all good. Highly recommend Jose's in Seaside.

This is a small place. The locals like it. The prices are not too bad for the amount of food you get. The food is pretty decent
