They have the best chicken enchiladas and chile rellanos ever! Their mole sauce is beyond compare. Service always awesome and friendly.

Stopped here because of the high reviews, but was highly disappointed. The salsa had that weird smoky flavor, and the food was sub-par. It doesn't stand out as a place that should have these high reviews except in a small town with limited choices for quality food. I could've eaten better at taco bell.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Good feed, good portions, great chips and salsa, and great guacamole. My favorite is the chimichanga, but it's all good. Highly recommend Jose's in Seaside.

This is a small place. The locals like it. The prices are not too bad for the amount of food you get. The food is pretty decent

I ordered a Combo Meal; Beef Taco, Beef Enchilada & Chili Rellenos; Taco meat and enchilada meat were like chunks of beef stew covered with a Mole sauce. My taco was a store bought old corn taco shell and the bottom with chunks of beef and mole sauce. It really was a bad taco and enchilada. The beans and rice... More

Jose's is a friendly, low key restaurant with very good Mexican food. The service is friendly and the portions are generous. We really enjoy meeting friends there and have enjoyed all their dishes.

On my last night in Monterey, and on the advice of an acquaintance, I decided to try Jose's Mexican Food - located just south in Seaside. Jose's Mexican Food is a smaller Mexican restaurant, that seemingly always gets good reviews - and has the reputation as being a local favorite. The restaurant sits on a corner, and accessing the parking... More

Love little places like this. You talk about nothing fancy yet a freindly staff and great food. Oh my what a meal. Stayed in Monterey area for a few days for work and wandered off from my hotel down the road and found this place. I had a Asada Chimichonga with rice and beans on side. It was delicious and...
