Sarita's

Very good food, reasonable prices. Sarita's is a chain, they have more than one restaurant in the area, in Marina, Seaside, and south Monterey.. All good food. Their menudo is very good, if you like tripe soup, a national dish of Mexico.

We were hoping for great Mexican food in Monterey. I think we were actually looking for Sarita's The Original although who knows if it would have been any better. We were there for breakfast and found all our choices to be rather bland despite all containing chorizo. The only flavor was salt. Boring. I may have given a score of... More

I have only been here for breakfasts... love the huevos rancheros... not much atmosphere... not fabulous service, but it is always quiet and the food is good. Worth a try

For years we have been coming here and it was always good. Lately it has been "hit and miss" and today we had lunch there and had the worst service ever. The waitress handed us menus (or better: dumped them on the table); came back 2 minutes later and asked "ready to order." Since we were not it took a... More

While working at Laguna Seca I was recommended this place. Suspect as you roll into a rundown strip mall. Head inside and enjoy. Awesome staff, super friendly service and great food!

My hubby and I have been going to Sarita’s Marina and Seaside location for close to 15 years. It has been one of our fav’s forever for Saturday morning breakfast. I love the way they periodically repaint and add new Mexican décor to make it look fresh again. My favorite dishes there are the veggie burrito, the nopales omelet, the... More

We arrived and the restaurant was empty. We were a bit nervous but decided to try it anyway. Good that we did. The service was fast, the food was good and hot. My only suggestion would be more spice! As we left the place was getting full plus they were very busy taking carry out orders.

Best Mexican I've had and great value for money as well. Went back a number of times and was impressed with every meal was I had. I would recommend for anyone who wants a good, cheap meal.

I think the food is average, but my friends seem to all like the food. There's nothing that stands out as really good or really bad.
