I've been to a Taste of Vietnam about 4-5 times now. I've had rice dishes, meats, soups, and noodles. I can honestly say this place and it's food are VERY average. I have yet to have food come out HOT.....how can your serve Luke warm rice and pho? Their pho broth is also subpar....it lacks a lot of flavor and... More

The Vietnamese food here is great but in the evening this place lacks atmosphere. We were nearly alone around 8:30 pm which felt lonely. We like Vietnamese food and their pho soup is excellent.

Being a transplant from the Bay area, I admit to being a pho snob and have had trouble finding some decent pho in the Monterey Peninsula. This restaurant may not look like much on the outside, but the pho is delicious with meaty broth and lots of meat. Very fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos and lime complete the usual offering... The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our meal. Some of the flavors were really nice but overall the food was average.

Walked into this place looking for some good Pho on a visit back to Monterey area. This place is fun. I've been back several times before. It is almost like a sports bar with multiple big screen TVs above the bar! Really cool. While their food is good it is inconsistent. One night the Pho is amazing the next it... More

Went for the chicken pho. It was terrific. Not salty but vibrant flavor. Oodles of noodles. Started with generous portion of spring tools. They were so fresh and tasted wonderful. Prices are right on. One non foodie comment. Loved the ceiling.

They very good pho, at a reasonable price, the service is very good and the people that work there are friendly and attentive. I'll definitely revisit this restaurant when I'm back in town.

We had pho here and overall, it was okay. A bit too much star anise flavor in the standard rice noodle pho and the meatballs were rubbery and overcooked. The egg noodle seafood soup had about 1/2 cup of crispy fried onions on top - way too much. Plus the shrimp was suspiciously off color so I didn't eat it.... More

The service was real slow, but the foods were real good. The spring rolls were delish. The large combination pho I had for dinner hit the spot. It's a pricey sit-down restaurant though.
