I had lunch here the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. So many menu items I had a hard time deciding but finally settled on the trout which came with rice and green beans with almonds. The trout had a lemon caper sauce that was the...More

Walt's Wharf is a nice little two story seafood restaurant in Seal Beach. The lunch menu has a wide variety of appetizers from raw oysters, streamed clams and mussels, sashimi, and cold shrimp to fried calamari and coconut shrimp. Once you've enjoyed the appetizer, you...More

We love this place. They have a nice quaint bar area with seating for lunch or an early dinner. The dining room is also available. But the bar is a nice place to people watch. Our favorites are the grilled artichoke, smoked fish platter, Walt's...More

food is great, service great, but what I like is the diversity in ages of customers, not a young people's place not an old folks place, a mixture all treated to great food and service equal to all

I highly recommend the trout and Walt's salad. And there are gluten free options. After dinner, take a stroll around downtown Seal Beach, the cutest beach town in Southern California.

Although no longer living in the beach area, whenever we visit we make it a point to eat at Walt's. The fish is fresh and perfectly prepared. The bread is warm and wonderful. The service is always friendly and attentive. After lunch or dinner, take...More

This is still a terrific spot-reliably delicious, fresh food and terrific service. Good choice for seafood-salads, grilled, appetizers. Get the grilled artichoke to start.

This restaurant's decor feels like a throwback to the 70s or 80s, especially if you are seated upstairs. Raw oysters were very fresh, plump and tasty. The only disappointment was the Clam Chowder, it wasn't bad, it wasn't great...just ok. There is a large selection...More

I've had seafood all over the world and this was by far the best. Worth the wait. My humble opinion, but try it and I'm sure you'll agree. Five stars for sure!

I have not found a good hotel right in downtown Seal Beach. I generally stay at the Hilton Hampton Inn on Seal Beach Blvd or the Best Western in Sunset Beach. In either case you would need to drive. Try to get to Main St... More

I always park on Main St, but get there around 4.30-5p. It is 2 hr parking but that limit ends at 6p. If not on Main, try Central Ave.

It's a high end place to dine. So if you have a child maybe who can sit without crying through a meal then yes. It's darker inside for atmosphere for romantic dining and i see business groups.
