Seal Beach is a lovely , place with a quaint downtown area. We found a gem of a restaurant for fresh seafood and other food items. We started with Blue Point oysters and Fanny Bay oysters. The blue point were very good , we were new to the fanny bay oysters and found them a bit sweet but still delicious.... More

This was a busy place on Saturday night. We waited a couple of minutes in the bar, sipping wine until our table was ready. It has a nice ambiance, friendly, happy people enjoying their food. We ate at an upstairs table, seating has enough space between tables to not feel crowded. Our server was friendly and attentive. A basket of... More

At first seemed like an old fashioned restaurant, and did not expect much. My father took me here as he remembered it to be a great place. It took me by surprise at how good the food was. My father had Alaskan salmon which was the best cooked salmon I ever tasted. I was craving for hamburger which was made... More

We walked in right off the street. No wait time we were seated right away. Very friendly staff. It's a bit more fine dining than other restaurants in the area, but still has the local feel like the other restaurants in the area. Their crab cakes melt in your mouth. The fish and chips taste like it just came off... More

First off, their bread was good. Second you must try their Boston clam chowder! Got the caramelized copper king salmon for dinner...AMAZING! Our waiter was very friendly and was great with his recommendations. The atmosphere was very relaxing, clean, and comfortable/casual. I can't say one bad thing about my experience! This was a first time visit to California and driving... More

My family and myself flew in early on Father's Day and this was my pick where to take my family for dinner. This was my second meal at Walt's Wharf and they did no let us down! Their wood fire grill really adds a nice flavor to many of their dishes. The grilled artichoke is awesome! My sister joined us... More

Walt's Wharf used to be my favorite resteraunt, but as with many things in the current economy, their prices have gone up and the portion sizes have gone down. Still delicious, but over priced. Now, I am not an Economics professor, and I do know that food prices have soared, but I doubt it is necessary to halve the portion... More

The service is great and the seafood is even better. Have a glass of wine and enjoy the evening. After dinner, go for a walk to the Seal Beach pier.
