One of my favorite stops for tom yum soup! Friendly folks and goo service. We often get it to go to take home for dinner!

We love this place! Great food and service. I love the coconut milk soup and my daughter and I always split a fried banana and ice cream dessert! We bring family and friends and they are always impressed with the food selections too. Definitely a favorite "go to" place in Scotts Valley.

Kao Sook is a small Thai restaurant hidden in a strip mall along Mt Hermon Road in Scotts Valley. It is our favorite local Thai place. The have a large menu and a fast kitchen. Our large takeout orders (5 - 7 entrees) usually take only 20 minutes for preparation, even on busy nights. Be prepared for a little wait... More

I would like to give this place a chance but even when I speak a little thai to order my food, the staff still makes my food for their common clientele. I am an islander and often gets mistaken for being Thai. Their portions are small yet pricey. I came here 3x and I cannot come back again as much... More

Even if you just wanted a snack, order the Angel Wings. Deep fried check wings stuffed with glass noodles and vegetables, served with a dipping sauce. Classic Thai appetizer, along with the Green Papaya salad. If this and a glass of wine was all two people ordered, you'd have a pretty substantial snack and maybe a meal. We went on... More

The Thai food here is really good, I enjoyed the Green Curry soup and it was delicious! My father had the basil squid and he said it was very tasty. Once we got our food the service left a bit to be desired. I was trying to get their attention to get a glass of water, but they were very... More

Always friendly, simple menu and consistently good. The yellow curry, penang curry and the pad thai are winners every time. I would recommend this to family, business, couples.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley area, and we would highly recommend it! The food is fresh, delicious, and always served nice and hot. We have experienced consistently good, friendly service for take out or dine in eating. The menu is large, with a wide variety of options. We've tried a lot of different dishes,... More

We ordered our food to go. The yellow curry was good, but when we got our lettuce wraps home there was no meat....just peanuts, sauce, limes, etc.....a little disappointed.
