Okay food.. would not go back. Waitress was indifferent. I read reviews before we went based on what was said about the food. The food was just OK but I was surprised to find that the service was what I had read about.. maybe it’s...just that they get enough patrons that they can be indifferent to customers? It’s probably not always that way but it was for us unfortunately..More

Truly disappointing. As usual, the food was good but the service was awful. That was especially disappointing given that the restaurant was almost empty. The guacamole was delicious, as were the fish tacos. But I couldn’t get the staff to keep my water glass filled,...the soup came at the same time as the tacos. The wait staff keep the door open for a prolonged period of time to bring in the outside chairs even though it was very cold. We were seated right in front of the door. It was very inconsiderate. I doubt I’ll come back.More

The margaritas were excellent, the food was very good, but the wait staff was overburdened that night. It was a nice dinner, but not great.

Good points: The drinks were great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was festive and inviting. Bad points: The service felt very rushed. The entrees for three people in our party came out before the appetizer for the fourth person. The server never came back...to refresh drink orders. But, the most disappointing thing was that the food was flavorless. The carne asada tacos and the chicken tinga tacos were really Bland. It was not a good value.More

I first went to Copita for a friend's birthday celebration. The food was wonderful, but the drinks were exceptional. We've been back several times since then.

4 different taco entrees plus a tuna tostada for lunch. All unique, all tasty in their own right. Flavorful and worth another visit before grabbing the ferry.

We ate dinner at Copita one night. Margarita’s were average as was the salsa. I had the lamb which had great flavor but was a fairly small portion. It was good but we were hoping for more.

We loved it. The margaritas were frisky, the Guacamole outstanding (a Best Ever candidate) and the Heirloom Tomato Salad and Roasted Beet Salad fantastic. The menu is extensive and lent itself to sharing between our small but hungry group, and the results simply delicious. The...service was excellent - the right balance between attentive and not overwhelming, and gave us good information and suggestions. The place was buzzing on a Friday night and maybe we were lucky to get a table. We rated Copita highly and would return regularly if we lived anywhere near.More

Location, Location, Location. Located within a block of the Sausalito ferry dock, this Bridgeway located Mexican restaurant rests heavily on its prime location to the detriment of food and service. Many visitors are enticed by the cozy atmosphere only to leave disappointed by the cost,...small portions and absolutely inept service. Do yourself a favor and take the 15 minute walk north on Bridgeway required to reach Saylors South of the Border—the locals favorite—for the best Mexican food in Sausalito.More

Place was fun and delicious. Of course we ordered tequila guac and tacos. The Tinga tacos were amazing and so was the guacamole just wish it came in a larger portion.
